food industry is an industry which is set to explode now i've covered this industry previously and i spoke about some major players in this industry such as beyond meat which have recently signed a three-year contract with mcdonald's and even young brands which owns kfc in addition i've spoke about a few other players such as impossible foods which is a private company and even tattooed chef which is an up-and-coming growth stock but in this video i'm going to discuss a brand new spark which i've recently discovered and it's still at ten dollars per share now for those of you that don't know a spark basically stands for a special purpose acquisition company basically you can think of this as the new ipo there's been a lot of sparks recently and there's been an incredible spa mania but generally the sparks i cover on this channel are only the ones that i personally see with the most major potential so in this video i'm going to dive in to this major one which is basically in the cell-based food industry so we have the plant-based food industry which is set to disrupt the normal meat industry but then we also have the cell-based food industry so this is basically real meat but it's created from cells and there are quite a few players in this space i'm going to get into and i think these could be potential targets for this bat company now yes this video is speculation as firstly let's dive into this research report here by meticulous research so the plant-based food market is estimated to be worth 74.2 billion by 2027. that's growing at a compound annual growth rate of 11.9 percent per year from 2020 so that's what makes me bullish on this industry and let's just dive straight into this back without wasting any more time so this back is called natural order acquisition corp and this is on the nasdaq with the ticker symbol noac now as many of you guys may know these sparks start off at 10 and generally they tend to pop up by around 30 percent once a merger is announced now no merger has been announced yet and this could be up to two years before this company actually finds a target so that does need to be taken into account there is an opportunity cost with investing into this you could have your money trapped here for two years of course you could sell any time but the stock may fluctuate in the short term usually the ten dollars is the base so you can just expect small fluctuations if you get in at these levels so as you can see previously from the first of february which seems to be when the stock went live the stock's been around ten dollars the lowest it's ever been is 10.25 it's now at 10.80 so so let's find out a little bit more about natural order acquisition corp is our intention to pursue prospective targets that are focused on technologies and products related to sustainable plant-based food and beverages alternative protein and ingredients more specifically our target market includes companies that use plant-based cell-based or precise fermentation technologies to develop food products that eliminate animals from the food supply chain so the cell-based industry is the industry i'm really interested in i think that could be a major growth industry and a major disruptive industry to the general farming market so here's the team here they haven't really got a famous backer like bill atman in the pershing square spack which i recommended a few months back but they do seem to be well educated so we've got paresh here received an mba from harvard business school so let's find out a little bit more about the potential target so there's a few potential targets one of the ones i'm most excited about being a potential target now this is speculation at the moment i'm speculating at the moment this is a rumor but the company is called eat just not just eat eat just in this company is basically i'll dive into this headline here so this is a multi-billion dollar company is selling lab grown chicken in a world first now this is a real major one i have seen beyond meats got beyond chicken but this seems like just a level up they already seem to be operating with their products in singapore at the moment at a variety of restaurants you've seen a chicken nugget before but this is no ordinary chicken nugget this is a chicken nugget grown from a single cell with no animals harmed in the process the process of creating cultured meat starts with a cell in this case from a chicken it can be taken either from a live bird through a biopsy a fresh piece of meat a cell bank or the root of a feather that cell is then fed nutrients like those found in soy and corn before being left to mature in a large scale steel vessel the process takes around 14 days from start to finish and the end product is raw minced meat so this company has been backed by peter thiel's founders fund now peter thiel was the co-founder of paypal along with elon musk and this company's also been backed by i believe the bill gates foundation so there's some major players who are investing into eat just but this is a private company so we don't know if this is the company which is going to be merging with this back so potentially if it is if it is then that could be a major win if it isn't then obviously not but there are a few of a potential target so we've also got memphis meats so this another similar company which basically memphis meat's mission is to bring delicious healthy meat to your table by harvesting it from cells instead of animals so we call it cell-based meat and it's our goal to transform how food gets to the plate while continuing to eat what we love so with the cell-based meat it's real meat but it's grown from cells rather than having to kill animals which i think is a real game-changer in the industry they could merge with impossible foods but i don't think they would because the spa company actually seems too small to merge with impossible foods unless they just take a small percent of the company public so that's a potential that would be a real winner as well so there's three potential sort of targets i can see well i would hope to see for this back opportunity but like i say it's still speculation at the moment nothing has been confirmed so you have a couple of options you can just leave it as it's a spark you can wait till there's a merger announced and i will hopefully cover that on this channel so it could be a few months it could be a week it could be two years or you could invest into it at this 10 level as a speculative play keep
