How can i use my finger to sign documents?
The only requirement to use your finger to sign a document is that it is legible.
The other documents in the list are for people with vision, hearing and speech disabilities, so you might be able to use them as an alternative to signing, even with limited ability.
What do I need to bring?
Bring the following items with you to sign the documents:
a form of identification such as your Australian driver licence, a passport or a school record
your full name, date and place of birth
a current utility bill, bank statement or other public document with your name on it.
Include a photocopy of all the documents if they are in a form other than A4.
If you are under 16 years of age, you can bring your parent or legal guardian with you.
What if my disability prevents me from signing?
If you can see the document being signed but cannot sign it, then use your finger to sign your signature.
