welcome to another lesson by your technician comm and today I'm going to show you how to do a signature right from signing to scanning and then in putting it into a document first thing you want to do is you want a nice Sharpie a fine block tip pen you're going to line it up with a line of your paper to write it out this will just solve all sorts of issues as you crop it so I'm signing it and now I'm going to go ahead and I'm going to just put it into my scanner I'm using an HP printers any scanner will do what I like about my scanner is it gives me a PDF option it gives me the option to email it directly or to print it out or to just scan it and put it into an image well that's what I want I want this to come out as a JPEG or a PNG so I'm back over on my computer now and I'm going to go ahead and hit scan because when I hit that Scan button this is what comes up on my computer so I'm just going to hit scan now or alt s to scan for the hawk key okay after it scans it is that it gives me a what do you want to name this so I'm going to just name it to John Doe or Jane Doe spacebar to select and then I'm going to hit my applications key or you can hit your right-click on this and I'm going to I'm going to go to open with which is the H for the hot key and I'm going to go down to Microsoft Office now you can use any editing program I just happen to like that one the best do all I to edit your pictures or just click on edit pictures I'm going to go to crop I'm going to drag my handlebars in to hone out my signature so it's going to become nice and clean and small and petite and easy to insert any place and you will see the reason why I want it nice and small right off the bat I'm going to go ahead and rotate that so it's positioned up and then I can continue to tweak it okay I am liking that now so now I'm going to go ahead and go up to my file and I'm going to do a save as and I'm going to yeah Jane Doe sign 0:01 that looks good I'm going to say this in my picture so I'm just going to do an alt D and I'm going to go to my pictures and then it automatically my pictures library open so I just do all s and it's safe I'm going to go ahead all f4 I'm going to close out of my windows and I'm going to open word start key for hey let's pretend there's my signature that I need to input okay so alt and P and I'm going to just start typing out my signature and there it is I need to manipulate this so applications key or right-click a bit of form out and enter now I'm going to ctrl shift tab to layout I want this behind the text you'll see in a moment put it to the left on a control shift tab to size while H change it to 50% on both high end with and enter it close now when I position this it will piss position perfectly over the line as if I had printed this out and placed it perfect and that's how you make an electronic signature and insert it into a document
