okay in this video i'll show you how to sign a lease so you log into tenant cloud and in your dashboard it should say something like this complete move in um so you'll want to click that button to complete the move-in process uh this means that you'll sign all the lease agreements this is how you sign the lease agreements so you click there you know this is the kind of the lease terms this is the tenant account no dependents this is the rent deposit late fees and then here it'll show like what utilities you're responsible for i didn't fill everything out completely so uh so you click continue um and then this is i guess you can get insurance here um let's say i have renters insurance you could type in who your renters insurance is with please do that and and then the next page will be all this is one two three four five six seven eight eight different agreements that you need to sign but you have to do it in order it won't let you go to the next one without signing the first one so this is an electronic communications agreement basically says that uh we communicate um we're going to communicate through electronic means and that you accept it uh okay and so initials first name last name this is just um uh let's see first last yeah okay so that's the signature and those are the initials that we'll use so that's signed uh oh wait okay and then go to the next one can't go that one okay so lead-based paint disclosure the uh government requires this so initials go there sure confirm your name first last okay so it says that i've uh so you click this and when you click this you'll receive the pamphlet you'll see the pamphlet here i'll just open a new tab and it just tells you all about lead-based paint everything you ever wanted to know about lead-based paint so if there's ever anyone that has a problem uh with lead-based paint exposure well you've been warned um don't sue anybody that's what that's there for just to let you know um i don't know no one knows if there's lead-based paint anywhere [Music] there's you know things that people do in the past that we're unaware of so nobody's liable except for you and that's what the lead-based paint disclosure basically says and so you sign that i'm just going to copy and paste it next time okay so there's that um next one rent payment method so this tells you how you can pay rent online inside the app um and i'll show i'll show a video of this and then you can deposit at a bank account um okay sign here yeah i don't want to do that can we just click it no i can't just click it okay whatever okay so that's the new signature i guess um i keep wanting to press complete move in but when you press it i know it's going to say finish all the documents yeah see please fill all the required fields in this document okay so and this is the rules and disclosures this is the next one so you read all those agree to that and then i wonder so if you click that it takes you to the next one i see um then this is the maintenance addendum basically what you're responsible for you're responsible for taking care of all this stuff read what you're responsible for taking care of and then you sign it and goes the next one pet addendum if you have a pet um none i don't have a pet and then you sign it so uh you don't have a pet or if you do have a pet you have to write their name or something in there um okay so next one what okay military status so this is if you're if you are in the military and you need to leave for service uh this basically tells us that um you're kind of waving your rights anyways you you can't expect the landlord to uh not accept rent and if you have to leave so just read this [Music] okay that's good and then the next one the last one is the uh rental contract the lease agreement so i just read through all that and goes into more detail and then you sign it and so that's that's the you're done complete move in um it might take a while and sometimes the if you do it on your phone the screen will uh black out or the the server will reset and so you'll have to kind of go go through and continue where you left off it doesn't erase your progress is what i'm saying so that's all signed and that's how you sign your lease agreements thank you
