How to eSign a document: digital signature legitimateness for Product Management in UAE

hello everyone we all know dubai to be the home of the burj khalifa or for the ultra luxury experiences that it offers but in this video we'll see another side of the city how is the tech ecosystem here in dubai [Music] i think while the last decade was all about the rise of the eastern tech giants like china singapore and india this ticket will see dubai making its mark in the tech ecosystem as well and in this video i'll tell you why i am so bullish about dubai take ecosystem overall guys this video will be an opinion piece however even after watching it if you feel that you have different opinions or you want to put a suggestion or a comment please feel free to use the comment section below and i'll be happy to engage with you on what your opinion on this matter is let's start with my opinion on why dubai's tech ecosystem is going to be thriving in the next decade for any business to thrive it should have a market that has potential and is underserved the good thing for dubai is that it hosts businesses that actually cater to the middle eastern market and the middle eastern countries have three things number one high penetration of smartphones and app usage number two high spending power of the masses number three dominance of arabic language which in turn highlights the importance of local products hence local bread products are needed to solve the needs for this thriving market now that we've established that there's indeed a market to serve then the next thing that i wanted to evaluate was that there was indeed a culture of innovation in the system or not so i looked at few of the biggest startup operations till date kareem the region's ride hailing app which was acquired by uber for 3.1 billion dollars or online retailers sook which was later acquired by amazon have all done so well because they solved a very local problem of identifying addresses in the absence of pin codes and that has led to solving of a very significant logistical headache in the region there are other innovative offerings catering to specific local needs as well like swivel which is an app-based private bus booking service which is actually providing a solution to the country's long-standing issue of unreliable public transport and to top it all swivel recently went public with a valuation of 1.5 billion dollars hence it is clear that local startups have not just solved local problems but they have also thrived while doing so this convinced me that there's indeed innovation in the region and also rewards for the innovators so till now we've established that not only is there a market but that market also rewards innovative startups however the most important thing that anyone needs to innovate is the right people and culture and middle east has historically struggled with ingrown talent the universities in the region lag behind the best global ones however there have been a few recent changes that make me a little bit more bullish about this region in terms of its ability to track and grow new talent it's basically because of the following two reasons number one the government has changed regulations which will make it extremely easy to attract foreign talent uh things like the golden visa or long stay visa make it easy for anyone to consider dubai long term as now no longer your visa is linked to your job you can get a 10 year stay visa like the us grants it right in this case the short-term problem of talent is solved and it will be easy to attract talent from outside dubai and secondly i have worked with students from some of the local colleges like aus and ad and i've seen that the students here have an exposure to startups many of them have also interned with a few startups this makes me very confident that the colleges are prioritizing the right thing in their curriculum as well apart from this as far as my experience at noon goes the culture here in the ecosystem ensures that organizations don't shy away from taking big ambitious goals and there's this big thriving environment of collaboration within an organization which means that if you have to get big things done all you need to do is ask for help so now we know that apart from the thriving market conditions there's also support of good culture and talent in the industry as well the last thing that i wanted to evaluate was the kind of infrastructure available in the city are there enough meetups or learning opportunities outside your firm available to anyone who wants to learn and i also wanted to check what are the kind of investment opportunities or investors available in the region for someone who wants to start up so what i found was that there are countless meetups happening for entrepreneurs across the region but i do have to agree that the city lacks a concept of collaboration between startups between organizations if the likes of kareem and noon were to collaborate together not only will they be able to solve local problems faster but they'll also be able to grow faster however like i said there's indeed a culture of collaboration within an organization what we need now is the next generation of founders that come out of this flywheel that ketopi kareem talabat have all started i feel it's just a matter of time when people will start pivoting into their own startups and that is when this culture of collaboration will grow from not just being within an organization but also within the entire ecosystem as well one thing that makes me extremely sure that this pivoting will happen is the recent increase of investor interest in this region now you have vcs like savari ventures and the list goes on and guys with this availability of free flowing money comes the ambition of the next generation of founders so overall i feel dubai is at the right place in terms of a thriving market that rewards innovative businesses these opportunities will eventually lead to more inbred startups which will lead to more talent and more innovation happening in the region and eventually all of this will lead to better collaboration and a better setup of an overall ecosystem here so guys overall if you're evaluating dubai as an alternate for a city that you'd like to call home then i have only one thing to say to you habibi come to dubai so guys this is it for this video i hope you found the content useful if you have any comments please leave them in the section below and if you like this video then please share it with your friends and do click on the like button and i'll see you next time
