long have you been four years now yeah four years making five years would probably in and how has the gentleman is it all smooth or sometimes no journey has ever been smooth ups and downs life life ups and downs but you have to cope up and keep going how many companies are doing actually I've been a direct impune for two companies now the third company at current SEOs I was at a party in there so it's two companies and have you worked in any other in rate apart from Dubai but I visited okay I visit all of them or you only visit Abu Dhabi and aim and why did you decide to leave your family your country the good food in Uganda and come to you to work on okay gone gone we all have goals everybody knows this situation back home in things concerning jobs things concerning looking for water I was Mookie something too support me in my family in the future so mainly goals you couldn't get your goals in Uganda okay and how long do you feel you should stay working annually as long as possible actually I am as long as I feel like I have enough in my pockets I have projects because I came with goals I cited them I have projects and running I cannot just quit for the sake of preaching I have to fulfill and finish what I started so and still here for as long as it wait no plans to move to any other country actually I would love to but I'm human I'm a woman about aging I have to catch up with my you wouldn't get married so I think going further than Dubai I'm not putting it into consideration now not yet but I would like to go for a visit or something but not work I just wanna finish everything inspire is okay how was it in Uganda did you work before you gather before commute yeah after my college I got a job yeah I worked in Uganda yes please Rita yeah I work after my college there was a furniture shop invite in Uganda most of you know it it's actually we pronounce it in English but it was in Chinese it's called Xing Xing furniture mostly so in stay around going to say whether that is day number one and have you done any trainings to support your career development yeah in my first company I did a lot of training actually I almost did two months training with my first company because my first company was a big company where by to deploy you on a certain location or a site they had to take you through a lot of trainings safety chemical handling menu handling fire I went to all these trainings with my first company and then each and every company that our each and every department or we will go deep into that but I've done so far something like six trainings for the beverages fire safety chemical handling under getting certificates for that yes I'm getting certified and what has been your best job did the job that you've done and felt like you enjoy - every time I woke up in the morning and you can't wait to be at work actually I was every job that I could get I was eager and I loved every job that I did but I'm enjoying the job I'm having now because it it suits me it's the job that I did I'm enjoying it I'm learning from it so this is the current job that I'm doing okay I loved all my jobs you've never had a job that you're dragging to it and you not don't feel like we're going to work in in the morning no no no I've been always motivated and I loved every job that I did that's a good with the stats yeah okay um describe the typical day at work in the morning what time you start what time do you have any breaks at work do you have any time to chat or play games how is it at work I stacked my okay I start my day one hour prior to my duty timings assuming I'm on a morning shift I'm starting my duty at 8:00 so I start one hour prior that is I'm going to check the seven o'clock bus because we have things in urban I take the 7 o'clock past because I have to check I have to take another so I use this one hour to prepare myself where I'm working we don't go with uniforms we go just like this and then you go to the laundry and change so you have to give you yourself time to prepare so I stuck an idea with breakfast and after my breakfast I could get my uniforms and I hit the floor I start my daily that I work for nine hours yeah in the middle of the day I have another one hour lunch which is great yeah some kind some time to relax um do you have any time to relax after work lunch like when a day off what you do how do you spend your free time actually depends Shabbat because in my department sometimes when we have a busy weekend you will have one day of a week so if it is such a week of having one day of I love movies Shaban I love to rest because if I okay I love moving out but basically coming to design I came to the bias religion expensive if you are not careful yeah so I'd love to stay at home do my home calls and then watch my movies and eat so much interest so much yeah you don't seem like someone who eats so much I do have a lot of weight on you yeah I really like to rest because if I'm on my off day I can energize do to recharge your body have you a new experience made some difficult customers if you have any you can remember that was so difficult you don't have to mention the name or nationality but if you have any scenario that was deep and how you managed to get out of it you know shebang I'm a confident person and God blessed me with a very positive attitude I'm always on the positive side of life I always take things easy and I always consider people because someone can come to you with an attitude you don't know how their night was or how their day has been so you have to be considerate you always have to be on the opposite you cannot you know you cannot be on the same pace with the person so but you can find a balance you don't know okay on the same side but you can have a point that's so professional very true yeah so does this one day I am working in food and beverages and the department I'm working in we its banquet events so we we organize conference we organize parties weddings every sort of event that you know we handle so when we are having like conferences we don't prepare foodstuffs we call them coffee bricks for the people in the conference because every after Alamos let me assume two three hours they come out and refresh they take a coffee and inject a snug so in so big we arrange the foodstuffs the coffee machines right outside the conference room because we cannot put inside you know so in something outside the conference because it's it's a hotel it's everywhere people pass seeing every outside of the hotel people passing so we are anything these things are paid specifically for the people in the conference but you know my my industry is hospitality Hospitality means being friendly trades work years yeah when people see an apple they think it's up for grabs because it's hospitality they think maybe it's a treat so this lady came most of the times of quick girls you know like to show that this thing you know variegated yeah so they became she just walked past me and open the barricade and internet browser sandwiches I was like oh I'm so remember this is not for everyone in the hotel this is a private coffee break for the people in the conference and we really put these things ing to the number of the people desirable to address them yeah and she said I paid my money in this hotel and I'm staying here I can eat anything I want I'm staying here I'm not coming from outside buzzer would ya I was like yo mama I really understand but ing to what I've explained to you I'm just going to repeat these quite a scenario and I really am scared of scenarios sometimes you can't avoid them and you never know when to come and but just have to be flexible and I'd just as people take things differently yeah yeah um what are some of your best moments in Yui we had like you had some achievements that you celebrated and we felt like this is a moment I remember for years yes Shaban actually Dubai but every day is party and every day's growth and every day so smiles yeah so it is first of all I was stuck with their something it was like a surprise that that was a day it was a 9th October last year 2019 I was from duty or traditional attire and sitting on the window leaning listening to music when we were bypassing Downtown Dubai I was in the cheapest but something told me to you through the window guess what I searched about which Khalifa with Uganda flag happy Independence Day Wow that was beautiful that was really I just felt at home so you follow from you're gonna body still have that lovely you're going to work don't go to work and gets around just consider that as your own own business work as if you're working in your own business your confidence matches your attitude matters you know you have to be transparent what's your attitude do is it working smart working hard what is your attitude towards work smart I really opted for working smart because it will make you work easy you have fine everything will just be perfect I will just give you an example you're working in a store you're okay you're in a store you want to take something to another place you some people you know they can opt you're carrying that you have to take six boxes to this other place some people will you know Carrie Carrie Carrie they're getting they're working hard as much people will look around and motivation and inspiration from her story firsthand um we left after looking at you beginning and how you managed to work and keep progressing from carrying from a career point of view I have some more questions about what motivates you what keeps you going as I explained to you that every day is a new day for me today has been good for me it has been really it is as I told you it for years I've been growing from one state to another one stage to another one stick to another so I'm getting motivated because you know they've made the target the thing that brought almost all of us here is getting money so if you are here and then you move to another step tomorrow it's a great motivation that you have to wake up the next day maybe next they might go you know even higher because the higher you go the money you gave them or everything you get that's why we're here yeah I'm getting motivated every day because you know there is this growth growth in Dubai growth in everything so motivated by success the more success you get you keep getting motivated okay I also would like to know do you find time to praise because this is a predominantly Muslim country and you're not a Muslim how do you must you get time do you have space to place in your own religion Dubai is beautiful Dubai is a play actually here in Dubai you will feel like you and Uganda you are in your home country Nigeria Kenya you will feel like you're back at home we have churches we have charges ranging from every religion to the other there is st. Mary's Catholic Church I don't go there usually but I could there whenever I find him whenever my schedule allows me I live alone st.
