we've been working on this for a while it's been a collaborative effort I feel really good about it we are finally partnering in the way that we should be partnering where Ag and education are working together and not next to one another because this is going to be better for kids in our state we know that Tennessee FFA and agriculture as a whole is going to be strengthened through this partnership and we are excited to see what the future holds if we're serious about FFA in this state and we are then we have to ensure that our students have the most opportunities that we can provide to them and it's important that the Department of Education and agriculture Works seamlessly together to do that so now we know they will have quality programs while they're in their school day and that AG will be able to really enhance and Elevate all of those opportunities that exist outside of the school day and integrate that into future careers what this now does is it says education can really focus on what we do best and allow Department of Agriculture to partner in ways that education just couldn't we've got over half the farmers in the country are going to be retirement age in the next 10 years and so so that's concerning so this is a way to expose kids City Country all over the state of Tennessee to Agriculture and Forestry education we're going to keep it up on the top of our priority on top of our list on top Shield so we're not going to let it slide we'll just wait and see what happens
