hello and welcome to TaxACT professionals video on how to utilize the brand new eSignature dashboard within the product my name is Jake Etheridge I'm the senior ux designer for TaxACT professional and I'm going to show you how easy it is to use this new feature in TaxACT as you can see up here I have my basic tab as I did before including the client manager appointment manager professional ports Etc today I will be using a prototype version of the software as this feature will not be live until I've actually sent some eSignature requests within the program but you'll get a sense of how this feature will operate from this video as you can see I have listed below a variety of eSignature requests that I have sent out I can also search those requests if I so choose to I can also click this need help and be taken to the helpful uh help page within our website and I can even go over here to buy more envelopes and purchase more envelopes to add to my balance on the website but for right now I'm going to show you some of the cool features and tools you can utilize within the dashboard so let's say I want to go to my client Rand here and I'm able to see his status I'm able to see the date that this was created I'm able to see when the next reminder is going out and the expiration date for this request as well as the documents attached to this request and if I go over here by the client's name and click these three dots I have a variety of things I can do I'm going to go ahead and hit edit request as you can see here if you click edit request it is a screen that looks very very similar to the actual creation request screen except you can go in here and make slight modifications if you realize you possibly made a mistake I think this all looks good so I'm going to hit save and send and I'm notified that my edits have been made and my client will see these changes in the envelope next I'm going to choose to view the history if I hit view history I actually get the chance to see any time I've interacted with this envelope and anytime my client has interacted with this envelope including timestamps below in order to know that my client opened the documents may have reopened the documents and I can now uh feel the need to ask them if they need anything from me or to check in on them I'm going to hit OK to close this and then finally let's say that Rand had actually signed all of the documents and had sent them along I could actually click these three dots and hit download documents and then choose which documents I would like to download including the federal 8879 and I'm going to go ahead and hit download as you can see here the documents from Rand althor were successfully downloaded and I can hit this X and close out that message another brief note as you can see here on my client Severus Snape uh he actually has signed everything and there is this option to prepare to eat if I actually hit that I'm taken to the e-filing screen and I have the ability to immediately jump in and begin e-filing this return without having to navigate there separately within the program all right that about covers it thank you for watching and if you have any questions please reach out to the TaxACT professional support team thank you
