How to eSign a document: eSignature lawfulness for Employee Compliance Survey

Hi I'm Nathanael and welcome to another update  from please sign as you know please sign already   operates as a great standalone solution to get  your contracts and agreements signed quickly and   efficiently today we're going to be taking  a look at GDPR and the requirement to get   explicit consent to collect and process data.  We're going to show you how you can seamlessly   integrate PleaseSign into your data collection  process. In our example we'll be collecting   data via a web form which, once complete,  will be digitally signed using PleaseSign.   If you use other forms of data collection, that's  not a problem at all. What's important here   is the digital signature which securely  and legally identifies the individual,   therefore giving you undeniable consent to collect  and process their data. When considering GDPR,   these are the seven main principles, but the  main three are: lawfulness, purpose limitation,   and storage limitation. And essentially when  collecting and processing data from an individual,   you have to get consent based on these seven  principles. But once you've collected data   from an individual, wouldn't it be great to have  a legally binding agreement to process that data?   Well PleaseSign eSignatures are a  great way to get this accomplished.   Here we have a web form, requesting personal data  from job applicants. Information such as their;   address, name, phone number, email and more. So we  would definitely need that signed acceptance. Now   again we're using a web form with this example,  but this works with any system you currently use:   email, ats software, your own web form, anything.  Now prepare to be amazed! Watch how quickly   I as an applicant, can fill in this form.  And then we'll get it signed together.   Wasn't that impressive? I bet after seeing  that you would love to have me and your   data entry team. Anyway, once the data is  collected it will be converted into a pdf   and automatically pushed to  the please sign application,   so that it can be signed digitally.  Now if you were to use PleaseSign as a standalone application, you could collect  this data, and then log on to the please sign UI and request that the form be  signed by the individual manually.   However, now as the applicant, I receive an email   asking me to sign the document by means of  secure electronic signature. Like we see here.   I sign twice using the PleaseSign electronic  signature platform. Once to agree to the GDPR   policy of your company and once to confirm  that the information I provided is accurate. And that's it on the applicant's side.  Super simple and fast.
