have you had a med 3 footnote sent to you on your phone and you're not sure what to do with it i'm going to explain to you exactly what you need to do to get that to your employer or to the job centre right now let's tech enhance your primary care and learning [Music] you're probably watching this video because your practice has sent you a med three fit note or what more people call them a sick note to your phone and this is so that you can then send it either to your employer or to the job center to use for claiming for various aspects often these are now sent as electronic forms that you can access through your phone or device as it may come as either an email a text message or a notification through an app i'm going to show you what it looks like from my practice it may look similar it may look slightly different through your device and is based on what system your practice is using in this situation i've been sent a text message from my practice so i click on the link and then as a security check you may be asked to put some information in like for example your date of birth once i've done that it opens up the med3 fitnote on my device in a secure platform i can then choose to either download that onto my phone and then email it or send it on from there or send it directly through the browser for most devices the easiest way to do that is click on the three dots at the top or on the share icon that's on your device and then you'll be able to send that on to your employer or to the job center or wherever is most appropriate if you have multiple employers you can send one copy to each person it is important to note that once you have downloaded or shared that document it's no longer within a secure environment and is your responsibility to manage the privacy of that document and that is a quick guide of what to do with your med 3 footnote and how to send it to your employer or job centre once you've had it from your practice team if you want to know more about the med3 fitness watch this video right here
