How to eSign a document: eSignature legitimacy for Military Leave Policy in Mexico

hello M12 Family Channel subscribers and followers um today I have a special topic I want to cover and I want to share with you guys uh based on my experience recently I went to the MV and applied for disabled veteran license plates and I just want to show you guys or share my experience with you guys that way if any of you guys who are a disabled veteran um looking to qualify or maybe qualify um to get a disabled license plate and a placard please watch this video this video will help you and will walk you through from the beginning until the end so those when I say disabled veterans these are the people who serve the military it's either you retired from the military with disability or you separated from the military with disability um um on DMV website right now and it says if you are a disabled veteran with a qualifying disability whatever it is and you are getting separated or retiring with 100% disability again 100 % disability you may be eligible to get a disabled veteran license plates and placards when you get the disabled veteran license plates and plard this will exempt you from paying your vehicle registration and also will if you live here in San Diego will give you free access to the tollways around San Diego such as the the tollway 125 and on I15 there's a lot of tall ways or tall lanes that you can take that will now be free for you if you are 100% [Music] disabled so how would you qualify for disability uh veteran license plate so you may qualify for the plate if you have permanent disabil ility as a result from injury or disease that occurred while you were on active duty service while serving the US Armed Forces US Navy Air Force Army Marine Corps Coast Guard or space force so first qualification is you must have a disability rated at 100% by the VA Veterans Affairs um again this is related to the diagnosis um or diagnosed disease or disorder that impairs you or interfere with your Mobility so again number one qualification must have 100% disability number two you must complete the form um vso d001 this form is called the veteran status and service connected disabil disability verification so this is a copy of the vsso d001 take a look the vs o or bd-1 you need to download the form and send it to the nearest veteran service officers or office in San Diego so for me I printed the form filled it out and sent it to the nearest vsso actually I called them and sent and I was told to email a copy of a complet completed and signed form to them and they will review it and we will get it back via mail within 10 days and once everything is good the vso officer will sign and mail it back to you and all you have to do is take that form along the other requirements to the nearest DMB so One requirement must have 100% disability and how would you prove that you would need to submit your DD214 to prove that you serve the military so didd [Music] 214 you need to send a copy of your VA disability explanation or benefit summary um along with your [Music] DD214 you will also need to send bring a copy of the vsso D1 the veteran status and service connected disability verification form and also lastly you need to complete the disabled veteran certification form which is the reg eg- 256a form and if you go log in to dmv.ca.org and go to the disabled veterans license plates page you will see the form towards the bottom all right so gather all your documents guys so it is important that you have all your documents before you go to DMV otherwise you will have to come back DD214 VA benefit summary that shows that you are 100% disabled the vs o-1 and the DMV form r- 256a form that has to be completed and signed um and then the last thing that you need to bring is a registration form of your vehicle that you uses and that your name must be on the registration so the car must be registered under your name your name is on the registration and this is your primary vehicle that you [Music] uses so what happens after you you go to DMV um so once you get to DMV you will pull a number you wait until you're called once you're called the Lady or the clerk the person will ask for all your documents you just hand all the documents he or she will review it once everything is good to go one the person the clerk will make you a temporary registration form that you will be using in the meantime until you get your actual license plate with a this disabled sticker and a letter D Delta V Victory on your license plate which so you will receive a license plate from Sacramento with with the blue sticker and d v on the end of the license plate number so you will get that and also before you leave you will be given a placard which is the disabled veteran placard which is a universal disabled placard the blue placard that everyone hangs on their windshield so you will get that you will only get one uh this is in addition to your license plate this is to be used if you're writing someone's car or you're borrowing someone else's car someone is taking you to your medical appointment that allows you to park in a disabled parking spot um with this placard but one thing with that placard I was told that if you're if you are using that placard you must use this placard showing your screen you must use this blackard um or carry this placard along with another form that DMV will hand to you before leaving so the plard and the form goes handing in hand um so again this is the picture of the placard that you need to hang if you're using another car or riding someone's car or borrowing or renting another car um do you need to make an appointment no when I gathered all my forms everything was completed I just showed up to San a cidro DMV and pull the number and waited for a good 30 40 minutes and I walked out with the blackard and temporary registration form and a form that accompanies your blackard again guys if you are a veteran you serve the military whether you separate or retired this is something you want to do if you are 100% disabled one why would you do this benefit is number one you are exempt from paying your registration fees on on this car that you are using your primary vehicle will now be exempt from registration fees your new license plate will now have an expiration date of December whatever year 2024 2025 and when you get your reminder to renew your registration you will have zero balance to pay number two with a disability placard you can park almost anywhere in a disabil disabled parking spot um in a tall meter where you don't have to pay also if you go to Southwestern College local community colleges universities it is free guys it is free um you don't have to worry about paying parking fees if you have a disabled U license plate or placard and lastly if you drive along 125 I15 you can use the tollways for free so this is something you want to think take a look at if you are interested so again a qualified disabled veteran is exempt from paying all fees um and also the vehicle must be owned by the disabled veteran and display the disabled veteran license plates um this fee exception can only be used for one vehicle and individuals who qualify for two types of exemp plates such as of War disabled veterans cannot obtain two plates so if you if regardless whether you're entitled for another exemption plates you can only use one all right so that's my quick blog for the day I just want to show you guys my recent experience at California DMV when I applied for my disabled veteran license plates so I hope you guys find this helpful if you like this video please comment below like And subscribe if you want me to share my other experiences on how I went and apply uh for anything military related please let me know I'll be happy to share my experience um again thank you for watching please like And subscribe bye
