electricity and water authority so there is a procedure involved to become a approved electrical engineer so in this video i will cover all the procedure involved to become an approved electrical engineer so in this video we will discuss the following topics what are these topics first what are the documents required to enroll your name in diva exam second thing what are the material study material you need to prefer to prepare for diva or dm exam third thing we will discuss here what is the question pattern of the y exam and fourth thing which we will discuss in this video is how to apply for this exam and the fifth one which is very important what is the eligibility criteria to write this exam so let us discuss one by one the first one is what are the documents required for this exam in the examination center the examiner will ask you two documents first one is valid emirates id and second one is soe card soe stand for society of engineering card if you have this two card then the examiner will allow you for the examination if you don't have any of them in your examination center the examiner will not allow you to write exam suppose if any engineer do not have society of engineering card then he can apply for this card if he has the following documents what are the documents required to get society of engineering card first one passport copy required original passport copy required okay second one required is valid visa and the visa should be of engineer visa if someone is working as an engineer but having a visa of plumber or electrician in that case that engineer cannot apply for soe card the the visa must be of engineer visa the third thing required is passport size photo and the fourth thing required is a tested degree certificate the attestation must be done from your country as well as from the ministry of foreign affairs the fifth thing which you required is equivalency certificate you will get the equivalency certificate when your degree certificate is attested from your home country and from the ministry of foreign affairs the last thing which you required is original experience certificate if you will show the experience certificate which is a scan copy they will not validate it so you need the original experience certificate of minimum three years here i want to highlight one important point suppose you are working in one organization as an electrical engineer but your visa is a electrician visa then you cannot apply for soe card because your visa is not a engineer visa okay and second thing which i want to highlight here is that if you are planning to write this exam you should have a minimum three years of experience if you have a degree certificate and if you have a diploma certificate then you need five years of experience okay that keep in mind now let us discuss how to apply for diva exam to apply for diva exam you have to make an account in deq that is dubai engineering qualification website and you have to fill all your required detail in that website let me show you how it's look like the deq interface will look like this okay this is my account e q okay here is my personal details that my name my first name last name email i address mobile number all detail is here this you will get this number you will get when you will pass the exam okay now uh i have my id detail here which you have to also fill when you are making the account my passport numbers and my emirates id numbers here i have my education details like i did my engineering from electrical so i'm electrical engineer so from jawaharlal nehru university my specialization in the electrical engineering so all detail you have to fill then you have to fill your experience detail i have worked in horizon gulf okay and i have worked with fsime construction i am working now with the cadbury international so these all detail you have to fill in your experience now let us discuss about the eligibility criteria for this exam anyone who is preparing for this exam must have dubai visa if someone has abu dhabi visa or any other emirates visa he will not be allowed for this exam the second thing the visa must be engineer visa if someone has electrician visa or plumber visa and working as an engineer at site he will not be allowed until he will have the engineer visa the third thing is required is s o e membership card that is society of engineering membership card without this card you cannot write exam this card you have to show also in the examination center to the examiner the fourth thing which is required is three year experience in uae for degree holder and five year experience in uae for diploma holders the fifth thing which is required is valid emirates id it means you are employed somewhere in some of the company the last criteria to write diva exam is very important we have to understand it very carefully suppose you are interested to write exam for power line okay and you are working in one company that is let's say it is a contracting company but your com contracting company trade license doesn't have power line accreditation okay then you even you have all these documents you cannot be able to write this exam for that accreditation because your company trade license doesn't have that accreditation so you have to choose that accreditation which included in your company trade license hope you got this suppose you fulfill all the eligibility criteria you wrote the exam and you pass the exam then you will get this certificate from government of dubai and from dubai municipality if you will pass the exam you will get the certificate if you will not pass this exam you will not get the certificate okay so this is my diva approved this certificate shows that i am a diva approved engineer now this is my engineering license that is different thing this is the equivalency certificate if you pass you completed your engineering in any other country not in uae then you require the equivalency certificate okay this is my equivalency certificate for bachelor of technology in electrical and electronic engineering okay this is the society of engineering card which i told you this is my society of engineering card the fourth thing which i told you the document required is the degree certificate that degree certificate must be adjusted see my degree is attested from the home
