this video will demonstrate the eSignature process within Meditec the reports that you have dictated will now be available for you to edit and sign from within Meditec once signed these reports will be sent to the appropriate care providers logon to Medi tech and on your main meditech menu select the option sign reports you are now on the main sign reports page choose your reports by clicking on the checkbox next to the report you want to e sign you can select or deselect all the reports in the queue by selecting the checkmark at the top it is best practice to edit no more than five reports at a time in case of interruption after you have selected all the reports you want to sign solo a preview of the report will display review and if any necessary changes are needed select edit the report will now appear in an editable format make any necessary changes then select save in the bottom right corner of your screen upon saving a preview will display with the changes you just made press sign the next report will display for your review please note that pressing next will not put the report in the queue for signing rather it only skips to the next report I'll review this next report and if any necessary changes are needed I would edit like I did before this report looks okay so I will press sign to view the next report I can see that I have signed two of the three reports if an interruption occurs you can press stop to sign the reports you have in your queue I will now sign this last report once you have previewed and signed all the reports or you selected stop the system will prompt you to sign all the reports in your sign queue the system will send a confirmation prompt for the number of reports you are signing select sign you now will be prompted for your password enter your password to electronically sign the documents press f9 on your keyboard or use your mouse to click OK you have now electronically signed your dictated reports as indicated by the Y in the signed column this concludes the workflow for electronically signing dictated reports and Meditec thank you for watching this learning
