going to select view our amend return here you can print a copy of the original return that was filed or you can amend we're going to select amend now if we scroll down we will see the purpose eligibility and information needed to continue we'll select next and here we can verify that our registration information is correct and verify our mailing address if we need to update our mailing address we can click this link here select next here we can see the gross receipts that was reported on the original return we need to amend the los alamos period so we're going to select last hours currently there's a gross receipts tax due of 146 dollars and 25 cents when we select the los alamos period we're going to claim a deduction since we did receive a type 9 nttc we're going to scroll down to the 7-9-60 deduction code sales to certain 501c3 organizations and our deduction amount is going to be the full two thousand dollars and select ok now you can see that our gross receipts tax due has adjusted and there is a zero balance for los alamos we're going to select next we do not have any business credits to report so we'll select no and click next here on the amendment details page we see that there is an amount of 146 dollars and 25 cents in green indicating that is a credit on the account we are going to select our amendment reasons this first reason is the appropriate one for this situation i am claiming a specific deduction from gross receipts tax for the first time a list of valid deductions to gross receipts tax is provided in fyi 105 click next and here we will see the summary page on this page we can attach amendment supporting documentation by clicking this link you will put a description we have a type 9 nttc and we will select the file los almost type 9 and ttc and select ok next we will check mark the signature box declaring that the statements are true and correct we can add additional attachments if we like we're going to select next on this page it will ask if we have any additional amendments at this time we do not so we'll select no and we will submit the amended return hit okay here you have received your confirmation page indicating that an amended return has been filed for the july 31st 2021 period here's your confirmation page you can print the return print the confirmation page click ok to go to the home screen or we can request a refund we are going to request a refund again here is the purpose eligibility and information needed to continue we'll select next and again we can verify that our information is correct click next since the return was just filed the credit available of 146.25 will not display here but we can indicate it right here on the requested we will then need to indicate the basis for a refund we took a new deduction so the deduction new reason is um appropriate and in the additional details box we will put a thorough description of why we are requesting a refund and select next here you can add any supporting documentation just to validate the refund request we have already provided the supporting documentation with the amended return so we'll check mark this i have already submitted supporting documentation box then we'll click next here you will indicate how you would like your refund either by paper check or direct deposit paper check will be mailed to the address listed here or if we select direct deposit we can indicate the bank routing and account number we are going to select direct deposit and indicate that the bank account is not located outside of the united states and the bank account type is a checking account we will input the bank routing number the bank account number and confirm the bank account number and then click next here we will verify that all of the information is correct we can make changes if needed by hitting the previous button and then we will declare that the information reported is true and correct by check marking this box we can add any additional attachments if we forgot to add them in the previous screens and then you can hit submit you'll enter your password and click ok here you have received your confirmation page for the refund
