How to eSign a document: online signature legitimateness for Alternative Work Offer Letter in Canada

some of the Canada immigration programs do require you to have a job offer and in that case many potential immigrants are willing to provide their personal information or even money to the scammers in order to secure a job in Canada and guys if you have received a job offer then hey guys welcome back to my channel if you're new to my channel my name is amartha rupani and in today's video I am going to discuss some of the key elements of a job offer I will also show you two examples of letters one is another one is legitimate so that you can differentiate between both if you get any job offer in the future at the end I will also share some tips to avoid such scans so without wasting any time let's start okay so these are some of the elements that you will see in a job offer such as they will provide strange email IDs with free email addresses as Hotmail Gmail or Yahoo Canadian employers will likely have Corporate email addresses so this is also one of the ways to find out if the job offer is genuine or not but sometimes scammers are able to use companies names in their email address and they act as genuine employers so in this case the best way is to call the company to see if they really try to get a hold of you another element of a job offer is the employer may tell you that the job is commission based and they may offer you way too high salary or your pay is dependent on unrealistic sales targets and if you want to check the actual range of a salary for your occupation then there is an official website called job bank and guys the link of this website is given uh in the description box below you can check it out so all you have to do is just uh go to Trend analysis Tab and go to wages it will bring you this page and then enter or type your occupation in here and then click search button it will give you wage range for your occupation from low to high for all the regions of Canada so this is one of the best websites to find your salary range from low to high for different provinces across Canada and this is the website I also use when I look for jobs for my profession next on the list if someone is asking for a deposit or training fee or money to cover some costs such as work permit or visa fee it may be a scam one of the most common scams is when employers or agencies ask you to pay to secure your job and always remember the Canadian job agencies charge money to employers to find them employees they cannot ask you to pay to secure your job because it is illegal in Canada and if you find incorrect spellings or punctuation mistakes that means it is not an official document from a Canadian company if there is an unusual choice of font or phone size or maybe formatting up the letter that means the letter is unprofessional and it is not written by a Canadian company I'm just going to show you a Canadian job offer letter which is not genuine okay so this is the real life example of a job offer as you can see the look of this letter looks so unprofessional the writing the font size the graphics the images they have used the company name which is written at the letterhead it's cnrl and guys it is real company in Alberta but the offer letter is not genuine now let's move on to the email address of this company it looks so strange and way too long and the domain name they have used is different than company's name which is a sort of suspicious the position they are offering is mechanical engineer and the starting pay for this position can't be 17K plus Canadian one more thing that we noticed was the punctuation mistake so it's a poor quality of language and people who write job offers in Canada have high command in English and beside this there were many other factors on which we figured that this letter is such as they are offering many benefits bonuses 14 days of paid sick leave vacations and job duties were also missing so these are certain things which can help you to find out if the job letter is genuine or not and guys if you have received a job offer then you can report it to these websites and I've provided the links in the description box below you can check them out and now let's talk about the legitimate job offer now let me walk you through some of the elements which are present in a legitimate offer letter you will see all these factors in a genuine letter and now it's time for me to show you my job offer that I got in 2015. uh I'm sure this letter will help you to differentiate between both and legitimate in the future if you get any job offer and once again I have not disclosed the personal information for privacy reasons as you can see the format of this letter looks so professional the font size and type are also appropriate and at the bottom of this letter you will see a complete information of the company such as its email address a mail address phone numbers and at the letterhead you will see its logo company's name and my supervisor's name is also mentioned who I had to report to and guys beside this there were other six pages on which different terms and conditions of the employment were defined such as my vacation pay bonuses termination my job duties and stuff like this now these are some tips to avoid such as scams okay so if you receive an offer for a job that you did not apply for it could be a red flag for you in that case take the time to look into that company if it is for real you should have no trouble finding information online such as its website its customers or maybe employee reviews if you're applying online then try to send your resume or application to the company website directly if an agency or employer is promising you fast processing times easy entry to Canada and a high salary you should proceed with caution because remember no one can guarantee you entry to Canada except for one of the government's immigration officers and guys if someone is asking you to pay to secure a job offer then it is a scam because in Canada it is illegal for employers to ask for money to their potential employees whenever you apply to any job please ensure that you keep the track of your job applications that way you will know what companies did you submit your job applications to and in the future if company calls you you can quickly go back and check if you really apply to that company and if you didn't the chances are it may be a scam and if you are in Canada then I would recommend you to go for employment services which are being offered by your Province you live in there are tons of free resources for newcomers and they will help you finding a job in Canada I've already made a detailed video on this topic and the link of those videos is given in the description box below you can check them out okay guys so that was pretty much it for today and if you like this video please give it a big thumbs up and do subscribe my channel because there is a lot more coming up for you guys till then you take care and I'll see you again
