Howdy Folks in today's video we're going to talk about notarizing documents which is a very important thing that you know how to do when you move to another country because trust me there's going to be a crapload of documents that needs to be notarized um especially you know if you have to apply from passports and stuff back home for us South Africans I mean when we had to apply for our the kids passports from South Africa it was literally a stack of documents like this that we needed to get notarized now to get documents notarized in Vancouver or in Canada um you would just Google notary public normally and you will find lots of notary publics I mean there's people with little offices they sit there all they do is they notarize documents every day but it's actually quite expensive I mean we've had quotes of up to 25 dollars just to have one document notarized and then ten dollars per page after that you know you can go to a notary public and spend 100 or 200 just to get your boss passport application notarized so it gets a little bit ridiculous luckily there's a much better option and that is to just go to your local bank as far as I know all the banks over here can notarize documents I know for a fact that TD Bank does so you can just go to TD Bank they will notice your documents for free we went to when we did our kids passports we just went to the Bank of Montreal up in Caulfield look I'm not going to lie to you the guys are obviously not super excited when you walk in with a stack of docs like this to be notarized but they do it and they don't charge you a sin so if you need to get documents notarized the best bet is to just go to your local bank branch they will do it for you free of charge and uh you're going to save a lot of money that way because like I said it gets very expensive if you go to a notary public all right folks have a good one cheers [Music]
