online marketing or Word of Mouth Affiliates and door knocking I'm looping in with word of mouth because as you guys know you do not pay for it so if anyone's new here I'm Chase Grant I started my lawn care company about three years ago I've started lawn care about seven years ago but I've been doing this hard consistently for the past three years and I'm known for growing my business from zero to six figures in six months and passing a quarter million dollars in Revenue every year now I'm giving you guys my lessons so as you guys know we have the three columns that we just went over I'm gonna give you guys one out of each column that is the best acquisition Channel as far as I know if you guys know a better marketing strategy let me know spill the tea I want to know number one out of the print marketing strategy I have two different ones they basically are the same thing so door hangers and postcards so if you are just starting out and you have a lot of time it's probably best for you to do door hangers why because now you can go and basically hit all these doors and only pay for the print material itself you don't have to pay Joe Schmo to go fill 50 door hangers in each trash can that he sees when just starting this is gonna be the best thing because all you have is time and what you need to do is use your time to acquire customers forwarding to when you already have work then postcards are basically the same thing as door hangers you just have a service basically giving them out for you hey I guess you're saving 50 of your product now right you Josh Mo when I first started I did start with door hangers and I still do run door hangers to this day but postcards are very enticing and it's the fact that you don't have to worry about managing people passing them out this gives you back your mental space of having to worry about what neighborhoods you're going to have to hit oh is this guy passing out door hangers checking people's work you don't have to worry about that anymore because Bill the mailman is passing them out for you number two online marketing so this is going to basically depend on if you're in landscape or lawn maintenance if you're in Long maintenance what's going to be the best way for you to Market think oh I need my lawn mowers how should I find a lawn care Guy where do you think they're gonna go Google anyone who's searching for lawn maintenance is going to go to Google to find a lawn care guy let's be honest no one's going on Facebook to find their Lawn Care guy maybe they just come across it and it's good to have a Facebook page but you're gonna get a lot more money marketing in Google while people are searching up for a service in their event if you're doing landscape which is more of a one-time project something that the customer may not be thinking about at the moment Facebook is a good strategy when you are doing those one-time projects like sod mulch if you're running any promotions Facebook will be the way but it just depends lawn career landscape I will go for Google ads on lawn care I would go for Facebook ads in landscape when I started Google ads in my business I started blowing up if you want to know a trick when you post your Google ads what you need to do is you got to put out yard signs and I know this sounds random but I'm telling you guys think about this you put out yard signs people are driving in your area oh whoa girl side guess what now they're on their phone and they're searching up lawn care near me and guess what happens the unconscious part of their mind clicks and they just recognize your name from somewhere they don't know where from but they just recognize your name it's because you already got those seven touches that you need to have before a customer buys on average when it comes to Word of Mouth I know in the lawn care industry this is what everyone wants no everyone wants to have all the customers get them customers and they don't have to do anything and just be a lazy and get a bunch of customers that's not how the world works if you want to grow your business fast you're going to have to take action you're gonna have to move therefore making my favorite acquisition Channel when it comes to Word of Mouth being Affiliates you hit up local companies in your area maybe it's a pool cleaning business maybe it's a roofing company maybe it's a pressure washing company any of these companies and just tell them hey I have a customer base if I can get these customers closed and I can sell you leads can you throw leads back my way and you can basically use their customer database and they can use yours to basically throw customers to each other is it selling leads not really it's just requesting extra jobs through your own customer base and giving it to a local provider as well I've done this in my company I actually work with a power washing and pool cleaning business and now we throw leads to each other also a fertilization business that every time there's a yard that needs to be fertilized I throw to him every time he has a fertilization client that asks anything about long here he throws it to me and sometimes you may hit a good affiliate who just throws your work and actually sells for you this will get you in a position where you're getting more leads than you can manage acquisition of customers in your business is super important because this is what's going to fuel growth you can't grow without customers so you need to figure out how to get customers efficiently you can't wait for them to trickle in if you're trying to grow your business you got to do something you got to take action to get as many customers as you can during this season it's marked right now and this is a season where you get a bunch of customers and this is the season where you're gonna make a bunch of money if you play your cards right so one thing you're going to want to make sure is when you do get these customers you're going to
