hello welcome back we are still in talking about working with the customer and job and now we are here talking about how to create a statements so some company choose to send the statements to the customer at the end of the month a statement basically is a summary of everything that happens during the month it's going to show what last month started with in a payment credits invoicing anything that happened and what the customer owes at the bottom here is where you find the options for the statement right here typically a statement is sent out at the end of the month it's four that month and in this case it will be december 31st and the period would be the 1st of december through to december 31st and it just depends on what date you're using on your system currently you have some options here you can show all of the open transactions as at the start date or you can include certain transactions down here you can send the statements to all of your customers if you choose multiple customers it allows you to go and choose which one you'd love to pick and or you could send to one customer and you could just pick also if you have type setup you can pick that specific type or the ones that have preferred send method let me show you what this is going to look like now i'm just going to click on preview here now it is very generic we'll talk in a bit later how to add your logo and all that so it starts on the top and says amount due and by the way you can click to zoom in it also has a place that if they want to send a check back they can put the amount there notice it has the balance forward from the end of last month and at the bottom it you'll see that it will tell you if anything is past you one to thirty days is past due and the rest so this customer obviously doesn't owe anything but we still opted to send him a statement anyway so that's it on how to create a statement you could send it or not send it if you like
