hey guys we're here to review purchase orders so um for those of you who already use our product you know everything from our estimates and our selections moods immediately into the purchase orders as we follow your schedule through the pre-construction process so I've got a house that is about halfway through construction uh pulled up here and every one of our houses will have the same 50-some purchase orders you can see that you know everything from a lumber order to a fireplace to cabinets and countertops flooring and so on is itemized here in detail in the purchase orders so when you're getting ready to start the job you would want to come in here and review each one of these before releasing it to the vendor now we have automatically transferred the data but we've also reviewed manually your PO based on the selections so we can compare that yes the customer has chosen the family room level a lvp floors and um we can see that line item here now we have a firm bid on this from the contractor so that we know for this room for this spec and this finish we need 332 square feet of flooring including the waste factor and 76 linear feet of quarter round which they will all that is there with the color on the bottom now we can see that the Builder has released and the vendor has approved this purchase order the work is not yet completed and the bill has not been paid which is what would be expected for a house of this stage of course if you um see that the floor has been installed and you're ready to pay the bill you pay it right through the purchase order and that interacts with um with your budget your financials your payables list and so on I'll get into that a little bit more in another another video so regardless of what the purchase order is we have gone through your selections the details and produced uh to the best of anybody's ability the exact PO for that particular home now there is sometimes a slight difference between your estimate and your purchase order so as I look at this particular home we can see that the the system generated number estimates is highlighted here I'm going to collapse all the detail just for summary purposes so once the build respect is home the projected cost was 601 602 dollars we wrote the purchase orders and the house actually declined a little bit there's a variety of reasons that could occur um so the price after po was uh 591.8 and then we see they have a variance of uh 905 dollars now I can come here and track that down and see it's Division 10 which is Windows and uh it looks like we we broke and had to order uh order a replacement window for something which in construction it happens um so this house is um actually under budget from the estimate and nine hundred dollars or a fifth of a percent off of its projected budget from the POS which is great um so another handy feature with the purchase orders is that you can filter so as you're looking for um coming down to the end of a stretch here and you don't want to see all your purchase orders you just want to see let's say purchase orders that are not fully paid you can apply a filter and that'll sort out all of the work that you don't need to be looking at anymore at this point in time it's also a handy feature over here which will show you the status did you release it did you not release it is it approved is the work complete is it fully paid is it not paid is it partially paid um so all that is uh allowing you to run your job faster and easier and since we write all these for you and you're just responsible for reviewing them um you don't need the back office support that you need to create on your own to operate like this thanks for tuning in and uh look forward to talking to you next time
