oh wow i'm good nice kimber welcome to amsterdam so today we are with hassan and a lot of friends ask if they would like to have a pistol or revolver at their house what are the basic requirements and if there is a licensing requirement what type of pistol they can have it how much it cost and all that so we live in north carolina and hassan is my neighbor and he had this pistol with him i'm going to ask him some questions so hassan tell me what are the basic requirements do you have a license or you have to pass some classes to get this pistol or revolver with you and if you want to travel with it like you want to have in car while you're going somewhere with family or by yourself it's not that complicated it's easy uh only for the handguns you need to go the sheriff office write down your information just basic information and the states you live before just write down that information and after a week or two week they will call you if you have clear clean record so it's it's just like easy so they can allow you like one two three four five as much as you want the handguns it's a five dollar per permit per gun so if you need a one gun so just five dollar so if you need a like 10 handguns you need a 50 so they will give you a paper so you need to take the paper and go for any gunsmith shop or any shop and you can just bought it at the end you can show them the paper and you can buy it and in north carolina we have open concealed carry open concealed carry means you can carry this one but openly like everybody can see that you cannot hide that means you can carry with you but if you need to conceal like you have to put in there but people cannot see you so it called conceived carry so concealed carry you need to go a six-hour class 100 fees it can give you like tell you the all google regulations and after that it gives you uh like a paper so you are good to go and basically that's it so you're gonna keep that paper with you all the time now the paper you have the paper and uh from the rally uh like the capital of my state they send you uh small card card things so you can carry with your card okay so just like a driving license you put in exactly exactly for five years they can give you okay and this specifically gun why what gun you have uh this one it's a kimber let's see this is the gun he has um hassan really nice one and uh just to tell you guys i have used this gun at the range and we shot a lot of uh bullets or like hundreds we did hundreds of them and i do not know honestly uh how much it is but what i'm going to do i'm going to put to this one on my hand and you can see how big it is it's very small so you can if it is you want to just uh as he said that if you want to have it concealed carried that means you're going to hide it in your pocket or you know right next to the belt it will be normal for you it's not heavy uh and if you want to have it in in front of the people is not even too big you know you can just put right next to your belt it will work just fine um so hasan is a micro 9 csc what does that mean micro casing so basically it is a small oh that's what it is so basically it's a small very small very small but it's it's bullet size is standard it's a nice millimeter so micro casing like this casing yeah small but it's a nine millimeter it's not a nine millimeter nine mm small so his bullet it can carry seven bullet and the bullet like nine millimeter no that's standard yeah that's a pretty big bullet yeah it's very standard yeah that can kill anything pretty much yeah so for for the carry this gun it's not heavy at all so small you can carry no one even notices yeah so i'm using this one i love this one so that's a case you use uh and just uh right put right next to yes so you have a clip yeah this is 36 size i did a lot of search too right just for this one so you can put in a belt it's right here it's good nobody see that no i remember sometime once i wanted to sometime i needed to show like some people knew that i have it right so that's how the style but once i don't want to show anybody right i have a belt so i put the belt right here yeah so i put right here like right here yeah so once i'm anybody can hug me anything so he cannot notice at all there's a small right here with the right chest right right so this um how much you paid for this one this one about 800 800 that's like a cheap thing and you can see yeah it's coated black right it's a standard steel like a high grade steel right so and it's a three point right here one two and three point okay like right here yeah so you got aiming here it's three point yeah so right and it's this is his lock lock and it's not hard yeah it's easy yeah pretty good huh yep okay so just to summarize uh if i want to get a pistol or revolver for the house and for the security sometime you know you need it uh what you need uh son we need to go to sheriff's office and they ask hey i wanna get a license and he's gonna charge they're gonna charge you maybe five dollar or ten dollar uh depending on the number of uh guns you're going to have it mostly in north carolina he said that is like five dollar and uh once you have that one if you want to have it openly everybody see that you are good to go and if you want to conceal it like you nobody see that you kind of put under your shirt or something then you have to take a six-hour class and once you pass the class they will give you a small card and you can go to the any uh gun shop and buy your weapon is that right yes and if you planning to conceal so you can skip the first step you go straight to the concealed carry class so after concealed carry class it gives you a paper so that paper they send in the office the capital of your state then they send you a card with a card so then you don't need to go for the share so you can just go straight to the buy okay so thanks very much son for this uh introductory uh kind of lesson and it helps because a lot
