to start by searching them on the internet so typically if you search scholarships online if you want to find a whole gigantic list of scholarship websites to choose from that will narrow down all of those scholarships for you and if this is your first time looking for scholarships and you know that picking which website that's the best for you can be pretty difficult and especially when there's a lot of options to choose from so today I'm going to help you guys pick which website will be the best for you so you can get as much scholarship money as possible to find the best scholarship website on the internet I'm going to be using my computer to search every single scholarship website on Google and then I'm going to use this list of characteristics I have to rate each and every website so there are five characteristics that I think are really really important if you want to find a really good scholarship website so the first characteristic on my list is Kim that scholarship website website and I can see that I can sort this by name amount due day and I can also show favorites and delete it so I guess for good on the first one because it did match me by my personal information and it let me make an account so I would definitely put a check by the first characteristic on this list and the second one does it sort by date I can see over here it says sort by due date and if I scroll and I'm looking right now I can't see July September October November so they're all in orders of put a check by that for sure and number three can you remove schools I can see over here it has a heart in the next I'm guessing yes I can remove them so yes let me remove all of them and I can heart them oh yes so I can keep my favorite ones on here and the fourth one is the amount of scholarships I am seeing a lot on here I'm seeing a lot of deadlines berries but I think it's just because I was trying to put in all my information really quickly so I would say that there are a lot don't want the ones you want so that's also really good and I'm also seeing that it's organized by deadline which is also really good so if we're going by this list right here number one is website match by personal information and the answer this one is disastrous because it did create a profile and it is matching me to all of these scholarships so I would put a check by this one the second characteristic was does it sort by date and yes you guys can see it has deadlines all over here so I would put a check by that one as well and the third one is can you remove schools you don't like or have already applied to and the answer is yes because I can put them interested on apply that blonde not interested and the fourth one is email and scholarships as you guys can see I'm just scrolling and scrolling and scrolling and there's a whole bunch and they're all organized by deadlines I put a check by this one also and the last one is is there too many sponsored scholarships or ads so there's a lot of sponsored scholarships on this website but it doesn't look like any are really in my way so I'm just going to give a half of a star for this one okay so I'm going to go back on Google and search scholarships again and let's see what the third one is okay unique oh it looks like I already have an account with unique O's so I'm just going to login hopefully I'm saying this right it's either unique O or Tunica so I don't know which one but I'm just going to log it in I already have my password and stuff on here now I'm going to go to scholarship match okay cool so you guys are seeing right here there's a lot of scholarships that pop up and if you want to know like more information just click on it and it's going to tell me the allege ability additional information and if I want I can say will apply when on apply applied or not illegible and I'm assuming that will take it out and okay I'm going to go back to the scholarship match this is sorting all the scholarships by date so as you can see there's June there's July still more July more July more July so there's a lot it looks like on here and since my current total is 91 and that's a lot so that's pretty good so this website it's saying the US Department of Labor's free scholarship search tools I'm going to click on that okay so okay so it's immediately giving me a list here it doesn't look like I can lock in at all I'm not seeing anywhere to login on here yeah definitely not I don't think I can login on this one or put in any personal information so that's really not a good sign at all so it does look like I can filter all these scholarships but I already know that this website is pretty much not going to be usable at all just because even if I did say gender specific female or even if I put fraternal organization membership they're still going to be literally hundreds and thousands of scholarships that I'm going to have to sift through just to see if I am illegible for them since you can't put in any of your personal information and you can't really lock in this website I already know that this is going to be pretty unusable which is really sad honestly because it looks like there's a lot available on this website so the first characteristic on here is can this match my personal information and can I make an accountant's website and unfortunately the answer is no so this fourth one is are there a lot of scholarships available on this website and the answer does seem to be yes it does have 46 pages you guys can see that right here so what the answer that would be yes and the fifth one is are there too many sponsored scholarships or ads and since I can see a lot of the sponsored ones at the very beginning I would say yes even though they're not directly labeled out any place to login no place to put any information I'm seeing popular scholarships I'm seeing new scholarships so this one is already pretty unusable for me and I'm not really going to bother rating it at all so it looks like that is my last scholarship website that I'm going to be doing today so now that we're done looking at all the websites I can tell you guys which ones are my favorites and which ones have the highest ratings overall so the three best ones that I would definitely recommend that you guys use are scholarships com unis go and fast webs so I don't remember exactly what ratings I gave these websites but I'll definitely put them in the video right now so that compared all three of them so these are the only three websites I would recommend that you guys use and if you saw any other ones that you really like - go ahead and try those out - I'll be putting those three websites in the description for you guys to check out so if you're watching this video right now when
