thanks jesse and uh hi everyone and welcome to what i believe will be my final webinar of 2020 but you never know what jessie has in store for me um this is a webinar on our signature itineraries for next year and also the incredible specials that we have for travel in the beginning of 2021 a little bit about kelly and peacock safaris we are a dmc based in kenya and tanzania where we have offices but we also offer safaris in uganda and rwanda this year marked our 35th year in operations so we are very proud of that and we specialize in exclusive bespoke safaris that is me i am the product manager i am very very lucky to be able to experience all of the safari destinations and properties that we offer and i love my job so to begin with um every year we put out signature itineraries we usually release them in july or august um for travel for the next year um usually we have about 17 itineraries uh but due to covid um we have had to limit these to a total of nine itineraries for 2021. this is mainly because of camp closures or border closures so we can't do our cross-border itineraries and the majority of camps have started to reopen now which is really good and we will update these as and when they do reopen so in total we have six kenyan itineraries and three tanzanian itineraries these are all costed up for the whole of 2021 so all of the seasons um basically what we what we aim here to achieve here is let's say you have a family that want to go out in want to come out to kenya in august and you need a quick answer for them sort of a mark prime mark price of what it might cost them so these itineraries provide that both in rack and net costing to you um so it's a very very easy way of of selling safaris so let's begin with our first kenyan one which is a family safari so um the key is in the name you'll see uh that this is tailored for uh families and also photographers as well i mean obviously safaris lend themselves incredibly well to uh those who are photography enthusiasts anyway so a family safari this is three nights in lycipia three nights in the masamara and three nights on the kenyan coast indiana we utilize properties that are have incredible children's activities mainly for the younger children um that is el carama house in the wild and alfajiri uh house i mean sorry alphagiri is an exclusive use villa um on the kenyan coast so that is incredible for families you have your own house on the beach uh elkarama is on a private conservancy in lycipia and house in the wild is also on a private conservancy in the masai mara that means you can guests can experience a much rider a much wider variety of activities rather than just game drives so that definitely keeps the children entertained additional experiences available are hot air balloon safaris rein of sanctuary visits the mara elephant project if you have little ones interested in conservation and learning about that those are all available so the next itinerary is a safari wonder and this is a fantastic itinerary for those looking to disconnect and escape from the world and judging on 2020 i don't see anyone that wouldn't want to escape from the current world anyway um this is a three-night uh camel supported walking safari in lycipia and then three nights at ngareserien in mara north conservancy and the camel safari is supported by camels or you can ride the camels it is led by incredible samburu guides who have a deep deep knowledge of the area um they teach you how to track wildlife on foot and how it works as every um it is in a tented it's tented accommodations you'll see there on the top left every morning you wake up have a light breakfast in camp and then start your walk the camp is then um packed up by you by a team and you are walking to the next campsite where you will arrive to an already set up camp in time for um a late lunch and overnight angara syrian is an incredible incredible property very small intimate on the banks of a river with loads of hippo there and it also has access to uh incredible walking opportunities within the mara north conservancy so it is for those that want to be more active on a safari okay so again it's in the name of family affair this is set up specifically for multi-general multi-generation families using three incredible exclusive use villas in beautiful areas so we've got lingishu um for for three nights sorry lingishu is a beautiful private villa on burana conservancy koch's bush villa which is just bordering the masamara national reserve that is on all the kessie conservancy and then alfajiri villas again on the coast on the kenyan coast so with this itinerary you get your private villa your private safari guide your exclusive use of safari vehicle everything is private and that seems like the most ideal thing to do right now is just to be around the people that you love in your own safe little bubble basically the next one again is a private pilgrimage tailored for exclusive use properties so we've got cotter's bushville and alpha jury villas three nights at both properties again you get uh the privacy and the freedom of having your exclusive use property exclusive use of safari vehicle and your own team of staff to cater to your every need so a conservation crusade was designed specifically for those who really want to get involved and learn about the conservation efforts throughout kenya so this is one of my favorite itineraries because it visits samburu for two nights and that's a private conservancy bordering sambaroo national park so it's surreni san beru then you go up to suruni rhino which offers the first black rhino traffic tracking experience in east africa so you get to walk with the rhino and get up close to them which is absolutely incredible this itinerary also offers the opportunity for guests to visit ritteti elephant sanctuary which is a fantastic community-led sanctuary for orphaned elephants up in the route up in retessie um yeah it's an incredible experience for little ones as well they they absolutely love it um you then move on to kefir house on leia where they have incredible conservation work um you can tour the conservancy headquarters with the rangers learn about all the work that they do there you can also do an anti-poaching sniffer dog experience which is incredible to see um that is based on availability as these are working dogs so they do travel around the country um helping in conservation from there you go to richard's river camp which is the masaimara um in the mara north conservancy again exclusive conservancy limited number of lodges limited number of vehicles a very private um great uh fantastic safari experience within mara north we recommend going and visiting the mara elephant project as i mentioned before you can learn all about the conservation work that they do up there for for the elephants moving on to the diani deferral this is just it's a beach extension that we recommend or at the end of a safari to relax and wind down again this is at alpha jury villas it's a four night stay um this is good for families even for couples there are three villas so uh depending on the size of the group or the family um we can choose either of the villas yeah it's a beautiful experience and exceptional water sports activities are available and great great massages so moving to tanzania now this is our northern northern odyssey it is a luxury tanzanian northern circuit safari so you're visiting gorongora crater lodge for two nights and then singita farofaro lodge on the gremetti concession in bordering the serengeti and that's for three nights it is very luxurious very very beautiful properties uh there is included in this signature itinerary is a folk day in the crater with a lunch as well and then it's just a beautiful area to visit the grametti area is very exclusive to just the singita properties fantastic game viewing yes this is this is very luxurious this this itinerary the next one is the killi conquest which is a mount kenya climb it is a six day climb via the machame route which is a less frequented route up for up the mountain so less people more in more comfortable climb and you get to experience the mountain um peacefully um so this includes a one night pre-night stay and a one-night post night stay at rivetries country inn in arusha which is a very very beautiful tranquil property this climb includes the vip specification so you'll see the tents there but it includes sleeping tents with a mattress a toilet tent and you're supported by a camp crew cook and porters and it is led by trained kilimanjaro guides with a ratio of one guide for two guests so um they'll always be secure with fully trained guides um to get them to the top of africa next is zanzibar zenith which is our zanzibar beach extension that we recommend this is for families couples water sports enthusiasts it's a five day stay in zanzibar including one night in stone town at jaffa g house and a half a half day stone town tour and then a four night stay at barraza resort and spa on the beautiful beautiful beaches of zanzibar so again there's exceptional water sport snorkeling dolphin watching you can do a spice tour if you would like there's slave tours yeah it's it's a really really really beautiful place zanzibar so those are our signature itineraries and now i'd like to speak to you about our special itineraries so with the pandemic um there has obviously been been a lot of availability that has become available um in east africa uh for the beginning of 2021. so we have incredible partners who have offered fantastic special rates um for travel in the beginning of 2021 and we've put together these itineraries using our preferred safari destinations and the excellent specials available so to start with kenya we have green hills of green hills of africa this is an 11 day safari so you have two nights hemingway's nairobi which is a beautiful property in karen in nairobi um two days is fantastic because you can arrive get over your jet lag depending on where you come from um you can visit the giraffe center you can tour nairobi and see what nairobi has to offer and hopefully the sheldricks will be open soon it is currently closed but when it does reopen that's also an opportunity in nairobi and from there you go to hemingway's oseki mara for four nights um which is a beautiful beautiful property in the mara and then from there you go to hemingway's watamu on the kenyan coast for four nights as well with this itinerary you do have uh a special rate for the exclusive use of safari vehicle in the mara and that is at two hundred dollars per day this is for travel between the 4th of january to the 14th of may 2021 the next itinerary is a safari north to south this utilizes the kiche group of camps it's a 10-day flying safari in kenya arrival is one night at hemingway's nairobi then uh three nights kicha chelykipia which is on old pejitor conservancy two nights at kichemara on mara north and three nights at kiche bush on olari motorogi conservancy so um with this itinerary it's an incredible opportunity to get out of the vehicle up in old pejita you can visit the northern white rhino enclosure you can go horse riding guided bush walks night game drives fantastic and then obviously heading over to the mara mara north you can do walks as well um and you can experience the inter the privacy of two very beautiful conservancies in the mara and of course the fantastic wildlife that limara does offer so this itinerary is a normal saving a savings off the normal rate of up to fourteen hundred dollars per person sharing so it is exceptional savings and this is for travel from the 1st of november 2020 until the 5th of april 2021. our next itinerary is scrupulous spots of kenya and this utilizes the acilia group of camps as well as hemingway's nairobi so um we have one night at hemingway's nairobi then we have three nights at alpena bush camp again on uh old prejudice conservancy and then three nights at a cilia ricaro camp so this is for travel from the 6th of jan to the 5th of april 2021 offering a savings of up to 800 per person sharing cilia have uh their specials for for these this season is they guarantee a goal dynamic discounting for every stay of three nights or more there is no single supplement charge and kids under the age of 18 sharing the same room or tent with one adult stay free obviously not including park and conservancy fees but that is an exceptional exceptional offer for travel in this time for those looking to get out of wherever they might have been locked in for the last 10 months um so yes this is a fantastic itinerary uh getting the activities in in lycipia and then going into the marseille reserve which is obviously has fantastic resident game in there as well moving on to tanzania this is legendary locations using stunning properties this is a very a luxurious itinerary um again in the north uh the northern the tanzanian northern safari circuit it is uh one night at legendary lodge three nights at little chem and four nights at muiba so little chem chem and moiba are both on private concessions so it's a very exclusive safari experience this itinerary does include one a full day in the southern serengeti so guests might have the opportunity to witness the carving season of the migration and it also includes a full day in the tarangiri national park so when they're on the chem chen private concession they can go into tarangiri national park if they would like to this is for travel from the 1st of jan to the 31st of march 2021 and offers the savings of up to 2 000 per person sharing so uh northern nomad again another northern tanzania circuit um this is very a very authentic safari experience this itinerary it is one night arusha coffee lodge three nights kuro tarangire two nights enter manu gorongoro and three nights serengeti safari camp so within this again you a full day gorongoro crater tour is included um as well as the opportunity for guests to see the carving season of the migration when staying at serengeti safari camp this offers a savings of up to eighteen hundred dollars per person sharing scrupulous spots of tanzania again this is utilizing a cilia camps um the same discounts kids go free no single supplement and gold dynamic discounting so we've got one night at illawana arusha coffee lodge three nights a cilia oliver's camp in tarangire three nights acilia the highlands and gorongora and then three nights a silly olakira migration camp again a crater drive is included and you will be in the southern serengeti so again the carving season for the migration and if you look at the bottom right that tent um alakira tents are incredible they give you the opportunity to basically sleep under the stars in the safety of your tent um with the comforts of the tent as well so yeah that's fantastic and another again a savings of sixteen hundred dollars per person capacious coast this is our zanzibar extension special that is running for the whole of 2021 it's a five-day beach day purely at barraza resort and spa and includes a half day stone town tour so a great addition to a safari in tanzania important notes that i've just realized that i didn't mention in the beginning so that's good um we all of our signature itineraries and specials are provided via pdfs or via where to digital itineraries so we can provide you with those obviously our pdfs have our branding on them um as well as our rack and net pricing but our where to itineraries can be uh set up using your own branding your own contact details so you can share these directly with your with your guests if you would like alternatively if you do have a where to account we can post these itineraries into your own where to account so they'll have your design your logo all of that and you can use it as your pref as your own where to template um again all of these are costed both rack and net so you'll know what uh margin you have to play with um and yeah we can send all you all of you the links to our itineraries i think either jessie or myself can send those to you um just drop us an email or perhaps jessie can send you a follow-up with all of our
