Sample Military Leave Policy Language It is the policy of this company to grant leave as necessary for uniformed service in compliance with all applicable federal and state laws. With exceptions and limitations, employees are entitled upon completion of military service to reemployment with the company and certain other benefits in accordance with applicable federal and state laws. Any employee who needs time off for uniformed service is to immediately notify his or her supervisor of the need for leave. The supervisor will provide details regarding the leave. If an employee is unable to provide notice prior to leaving for service, then a family member should notify the employee’s supervisor as soon as possible.
