Adoption Agreement Between Married Prospective Adoptive Parents and Pregnant Natural Mother with Prospective Adoptive Parents Agreeing to Pay Medical and Hospital Costs of Pregnant Natural Mother Agreement made on ________ (date), between ___________________________ and his wife ________________________________ herein referred to as Adopting Parents, and ____________________________________ herein referred to as Natural Mother. Whereas, Adopting Parents desire to adopt, pursuant to law, the child of Natural Mother on the child's birth and will initiate adoption proceedings, through legal counsel, to legalize the adoption. Whereas, Natural Mother feels that it is in the best interests of her yet-to-be-born child that the child be adopted by Adopting Parents and brought up by them in their household as their child. Now, therefore, for and in consideration of the mutual covenants contained in this agreement, and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, the parties agree as follows: A. Ion. The birth is pending; accordingly, the agreement is not to be construed as an attempt made to legally force natural mother to go through with abortion. Rather, the agreement is a mutually acceptable alternative to abortion. However, if natural mother and adoption parents determine to perform emergency abortion prior to childbirth (due to pregnancy complications or for any other reason), adoption parents will pay all expenses to the natural mother and may pursue legal action against natural mother if adoption parents believe they have been defrauded by her regarding the cost thereof. Adopting parents and natural mother agree that the terms of this agreement shall operate to provide legal immunity for adopters to the extent of any damages proximately caused by their adoption of natural mother, and as to her and her unborn child, in their capacity as parents of her child. As in the circumstances of this adoption agreement, the adoption will remain contingent upon the satisfaction of all the terms of this agreement. C. Attorneys for both parties, both attorneys for adoption parents, jointly agree that an adoption of a child is, in their opinion, in the best interests and for the purposes of adoption and for its own beneficial ends (, parent placement, the best interest of children). Natural mother and natural father are of the same sex, and natural mother became pregnant as a result of the illicit sexual intercourse which she had with her then-spouse. No attempt should be made by either party to misrepresent or minimize the events surrounding the pregnancy or the events leading up to it.
