Frequently asked questions
How do i add an electronic signature to a word document?
When a client enters information (such as a password) into the online form on , the information is encrypted so the client cannot see it. An authorized representative for the client, called a "Doe Representative," must enter the information into the "Signature" field to complete the signature.
How to sign something in a pdf?
The short answer is that you can't sign something in a pdf.
There are two ways of signing and that's using the signature tool, and using a text-to-code signature.
The signature tool
The signature tool is a free open source and cross platform tool for signing and encrypting files. It is available here, and can be downloaded from Github.
If you run into problems, the solution can generally be found in the issue tracker.
You can find more information about the signature tools in our documentation. You can also use the sign_pdf_from_a_url tool.
Using a text-to-code signature
Using a text-to-code signature is slightly more involved.
You'll need to install the command line tool, pscsign. This will come packaged as part of PostgreSQL 10 and above.
First clone the repository to your local machine, git clone . You can then run this command from the directory you cloned: pscsign --install
Next, you need to create a signing configuration file. This is a .pgp-sign file. This is generated on run of pg_pq --sign .
We created a simple example signing configuration in a .pgp-sign file for PostgreSQL and below. The example signing configuration should be placed in this directory.
The sample signature configuration looks as follows:
username: postgres hostname: password: yourpassword database: pdsig database_user: postgres db_pass: yourpassword
For PostgreSQL and below, you can specify a username and hostname with the --host option.
The sample signature configuration has...
How to sign o line pdf foles?
This is a question I have recently been asked in the form of a question, which leads me to ask this question: Can you sign a pdf file? Yes, you can, but I'd suggest you check your system first. If it's an o line, then it's a pdf. If it's a pdflatex, or pdftex, then it's an oline. For the moment, let's stick with the oline, as I haven't seen many complaints about it and I know it works with Windows.
Here's an example. I've taken a picture of a document and saved it with Acrobat Reader. Here are all the pages, with PDF tags that say which is which. You can see the text, the text with pictures, the text with no pictures, the text with the picture in it, the image, and the oline. It's very easy to see the difference. This is the pdf version.
What I need to do is to add some text and the oline and the PDF file will automatically update. The first line of the pdf will be on the left. When I'm looking at the image, it will be in this position. If I try to add the text and move the pdf, the text will get pushed to the right and then to the left.
How do I do this? Here's my solution.
I'll just put it as plain text and make a link between the pdf file and the image. So this is what I would like to do.
I'll go to Adobe Acrobat, select the picture and make sure no fonts are selected, and I'll copy the image.
I'll save the picture as a .pdf and it should update the pdf and that should make the oline look right.
Is this what you'd expect to run when you have a pdf file from the we...
