security of electronic records and electronic signatures there is also an increase in interest regulations and guidelines at the state and federal government level when it comes to electronic records digital documents and use of electronic signature and establishing trust for example most recently the passage of federal 21st century IDE Act which was made into law in December 2018 and recent activity at the state level around electronic will and testament and inori and remote notary processes the federal 21st century IDE act is particularly of interest because it's to ofits for provisions directly applied to digital transactions and use of electronic signature especially in the real estate transactions due to the fact that real estate deals are considered high-value transactions and recorded at the state level and many are funded by federal programs these provisions are digitization of government services and forms and number two increased use of electronic signatures within
