in this video I'm going to teach you step by step how to do email marketing as an affiliate marketer and make thousands of dollars every month I'll show you how you can capture people's email addresses really easily and I'll even let you copy my exact email marketing automation sequence so make sure to stick till the end of this video this video mainly contains of two parts part one collecting the emails part two building the email marketing automation from scratch and my exact automation sequence make sure you take notes because you won't be finding any other video like this for free and before we get started I have to tell you this video doesn't cover getting traffic to your links you can watch some of my other videos to learn those methods okay let's get into it [Music] there are mainly two ways you could do this and I'll show you how to do them step by step first way let's say I'm promoting this product as an example what you're going to do is create a landing page this is going to help you capture your visitors email addresses when you create a landing page people who click your link won't be directed to the sales page of the product you are promoting instead they will come to the landing page you created from there you can collect their email and then direct them to the sales page moving on to the other way which is the way I recommend you do this is creating a lead magnet and then collecting people's emails this is the most effective way to collect a highly profitable email list lead magnet is a free giveaway of some sort a lead magnet is something that can be valuable to your targeted audience something like a free cheat sheet checklist a free training or an ebook can be a lead magnet I'm not going to go deep into this subject in this video because this video is going to be too long but just remember a lead magnet has to be something genuinely valuable to your audience now what happens in this method is you will create a email capture page for the lead magnet you created when people come to this page you can capture their email address what's awesome about this method is because this is something free this has a higher conversion rate than the other method to create this I'm going to use get response get response is going to help us with both landing page creation and email marketing so it's an essential platform you can create a free account and try all the pro features for 30 days if you use the link in the description after you created your free account to create a lead magnet funnel go come over here to tools section scroll down and click the conversion funnel section hit create funnel then choose lead magnet funnel from here give your funnel a name once you created the lead magnet you can add it to get response it will create a download page for us just click on ADD lead magnet here from here give your lead magnet a name then in the description give this a nice little something like learn how to this and that in two minutes or something like that and you have to add a cover photo and then the lead magnet itself okay what you are seeing is an overview of this funnel this is the landing page that people are going to come to and this is the thank you page and then the last one here is the welcome email this has the link to download the lead magnet and also you can find some statistics about this funnel now what you're going to do is go and create these steps from top to bottom first start off with the landing page let's use this one right here as you can see here is the thank you page you can create something like this on get response pretty easily once you create something like this you can go to the next step in here you'll have to add a title and a description to this page and you can also add a custom domain if you like now what will happen is when someone click this download button they'll automatically come here once they enter their email address and name they'll be automatically added to a list by get response and they'll be redirected to the thank you page we created and from here they'll go to check their email okay now you have to create a download page click here to create a download page choose template you like and create something simple like this okay now what's going to happen is when someone come to this page and signs up they're going to be redirected to the thank you page where we tell them to check their inbox once they come to their inbox they're going to find an email like this and they can download their lead magnet from here and if you're wondering where your leads went get response automatically creates a list and add leads to it once you create a lead magnet funnel as you can see here and if you want to you can change the name and other settings of this list part 2 building the email marketing automation system from scratch and my exact automation sequence okay for this we're going to use get response when choosing an email marketing software you have to find a software that has a really good deliverability rate and most of the time softwares with good deliverability rates are super expensive so you need to find an affordable one I've been doing affiliate marketing for two years now and the software I found that checks out both of the needs is get response I've used many different email marketing software over the years but get response is my personal favorite it's affordable and really really easy to use you can get the free account with all the pro features if you go through the link in the description you can try out all the features for 30 days and I see that as one heck of a deal okay once you create a free account what you're going to do is come over here to tools then scroll down and click on Automation in here click on create a workflow as you can see there are tons of different templates here but for us all of these are useless so choose the start form scratch option just skip these foreign to do is give this automation a name this section is very important from here you can choose when this automation starts for example you can start this automation when someone subscribes to an email list or when someone click on a specific link or when someone opens a specific email that you sent and so on and so forth this is called a trigger now for us all of these can be useful but we're going to use the Subscribe option what this means is that when someone subscribes to your email list it will trigger this automation so you're going to choose the Subscribe option after that choose what list people need to subscribe for this automation to start choose list created by the lead magnet funnel and if things start popping on your screen turn off this interactive tutorial option okay now we're at the fun stuff come here to the elements section here we have condition action and filters okay now I'm gonna give you my email marketing sequence and if you got any value from this video find emails to certain affiliate programs you are promoting you will most likely find them in the affiliate support page of the product I sometimes use my own emails and I sometimes use affiliate programs emails just go with what you think okay what's gonna happen is when a new subscriber is added to my list I'm going to send them emails to keep a connection with them and then I promote a product to them by proving how valuable it is to them I don't push people into buying just making sure that they they know how valuable the product is and how it's going to solve their problem first I send an email welcoming them to the community and then I tell them what to expect from my emails since I give a lot of free value things like free courses on affiliate marketing free tools and value they can't get from anywhere else I send about five emails like this how these five emails are sent is I send one email and then wait a day then send another one then again wait a another day to add a delay just drag and drop this box and connect it to the automation and then when I'm promoting a product I send an email and then wait for one day and then I add a condition saying has the contact opened the email if yes the automation goes on and if he or she didn't open the email I send the same email with a different title what this does is it skyrockets the emails open rate sometimes I even do three subjects after that I send them back to the normal automation just by dragging and connecting it to here and make sure to add a two-day delay for these emails just like I did here this is how you promote products but don't bash your contacts with sales emails every day just send them once a month or so and always make sure to give genuine free value to them through your personal emails because otherwise they don't have a reason to stay in your email list if you're just promoting them products so make sure to keep that in mind [Music] my mind
