in the year 2022 now here's the thing you're probably just like i was years ago wondering what crm is gonna be the best crm is gonna help me make the most money get the most leads get do the most deals let me be super clear there is dozens and dozens probably a hundred different options when it comes to getting a crm hubspot brevity zoho monday.com daylight fresh sales sales force pipe drive this gets exhausting i mean like honestly who wants to deal with all these different crm software there is so many different options to choose from listen i've been in the business for nearly a decade now and i can tell you that i have used in my total career three different crms when i first started out in the business i was at a small mop and pop shop and i'm not kidding you i used excel okay i used excel spreadsheets and that was my crm system nearly 10 years ago that was what i used and by the way i've even seen some people still use excel then i used a software called big purple dot the reason why i say that is because not only did i use it but the only reason why i used it was because there was some guy on youtube like you're watching me right now and i loved his content and i guess what i bought his course and then i bought his his crm what i use nowadays is something called brevity brevity.com got it was built by a guy named ben kenny out of keller williams i don't have a link i don't have anything i'm not here to like pitch you a discount like right that's not what i'm here to do but what i am trying to say is many many many different crm systems that you can be using and what i want to clarify is this choose one choose whatever the heck you want honestly most importantly what i want to say right now that it can remind you when to call your leads make sure it will set reminder sets tasks to follow up with your leads when it comes to excel it does not obviously set up automatic reminders saying hey you need to call this person now yes you can set up an automatic formula and you can have it say like you know turn from red to blue and blue to red blue to green whatever yeah you can do that in excel however ocrms the reason why they're all different prices and all different things is because they all have different options of all these crazy stuff that you really don't ever need when it comes to a crm you don't need all these fancy flashy things all you need is a place to put your leads where they can organize them name email phone number and address whatever crm you choose make sure you use it and i know that sounds obvious but make sure you use it because my biggest mistake was buying a crm i remember i paid for monday.com nothing bad about monday but i was like maybe i'll try my try a different crm i'll do this monday cost me nearly a thousand dollars to set up between everything i was trying to do with it i paid for the premium this premium that all this kind of stuff for my team i tried it for 60 days and i hated it the point is that i'm trying to make now monday really did everything that brevity did except it was a little bit more complicated i chose to stay with brevity now listen brevity is not all that in a bag of chips i like it it's a great software it's also not super cheap and i pay just about a thousand dollars a month but i also have an inordinate amount of users on my account so for you it's not gonna be nearly a thousand bucks but it's really not that expensive when it really breaks down to how many deals it allows me to organize and then do in my life so paying a thousand bucks is really not that expensive in the grand scheme of things for you i think that like you can get it for as cheap as probably a few hundred dollars maybe 100 200 300 bucks which is not so bad however there's a numerous amount of other software's right writing cheapest crm software for realtors i've heard some great things about line desk i've heard some great things about hubspot hubspot's even i think that's even might even be free i think it's free right now free software hubspot you can click on that i don't have a link and whatever to make it even more free so go ahead and go after that one all i say is this do not use the crm software your company provides biggest mistake i ever made when it comes to a crm do not use the crm your company provides let me tell you why go to keller ramsey you go to exp they go to remax and then they use the company software and then guess what they leave in a year and then all of their leads were in the company crm and yeah you might be able to export them but the company still has all that information buy your own because listen being with privity and now being with two different companies in the last five years exp now and then keller williams before i'm able to leave a company and still have my company run automatically i don't have to worry about transferring software's transferring emails all that kind of stuff that's why i don't like using a exp email i have my own company email i didn't have a keller williams email i used my own company email these little nuances matter so much in the grand scheme of things when you're trying to build a company not
