What do you like best?

The templates function has transformed our intranet. I can post a fillable form on the intranet and my employees in the field can easily access it on their tablets and send us information. This has increased efficiency, and decreased communication issues by instantly alerting office staff to newly submitted forms.

How to create outlook signature

If you're choosing a CRM, and your head is just spinning out of control with all the options that are out there, well, I'm going to give you some guidance on some of the things you should be thinking about. So you can make a great decision for your business. My name is Moriarty, I'm the founder of it genius. And if you're brand new to the channel, we help businesses with All Things technology, making sure your team are productive, and making sure your business is successful by putting the right tech in place. If you haven't already, check out our video on the growth roadmap where we take you through the different stages of business and what technology you should be implementing at each different stage. Now, today, we're talking about CRM systems, and CRM is really the heart of your business. But choosing a CRM system can be challenging, there are literally 1000s of options for CRMs alone, and they are just the ones that integrate with Google workspace. And making the wrong choice can be pretty expensive. It can be a lot of time actually wasted in implementation. And then you've got the license fees and opportunity costs. If you implement a system that your team don't use, or it doesn't give you the results that you really want in your business. Now, what you need when you're choosing a CRM is something to manage your deal flow, maybe even do some email broadcasts, and ideally, track your relationships and interactions with your customers, as well as doing things like scheduling follow ups. And there's different kinds of CRM systems out there. Some will focus on deal management, some are workers on workflow management, and some are more focused on the mail automation side of things. So before we, you know, try and choose what piece of software is going to, you know, be fixed for the solution that we need or, or be a solution to the problem that we have, we've got to really like zoom out and decide, okay, well, you know, what do we want to try and achieve here? What is it that we need to actually solve with this piece of software? What are our priorities? What are the priorities for our different team members as well? Because everyone says like, you need a CRM, but not everyone necessarily knows the exact needs of your particular business? Are you in a specific industry that has a particular sales process that is going to be best served by one piece of software that fits in with that? Or are you perhaps a product business where you know, it's something more like volume or quoting, that's going to be more relevant. No matter what business you have, deciding what piece of tech is going to best suit your business processes, rather than trying to make your business processes fit a piece of tech is must serve you really well in the long run. So there's three kind of levels of CRM software. And, you know, I call them basic, intermediate. And then enterprise basic CRM systems are really mainly only focused on deal management. And maybe you get some customer database features, these are really the most basic because they're just there to help you with managing day to day deals. And so these are the kinds of applications that would normally live like inside Gmail. So there may be like just an overlay on top of your Google application, but they're not really going to help you much more on the dollar side of things. And they're probably not going to have anything like email automation, or project management included in there as well. These are great if you're just getting started. And they're a good step over and above just using a spreadsheet. Because what that allows you to do is have a few more features like maybe follow ups and you know, stages of a deal tracking that in a spreadsheet would be done a lot manually. Next stage is intermediate. And this is where you'll have deal management, but also maybe a little bit of workflow management or mail automation included in there as well. Some examples of CRM systems that I would put in this category would be copper CRM, Active Campaign, Infusionsoft, Ontraport, HubSpot, and even Zoho, these allow you to create additional workflows built into your CRM, which allow you to actually get a little bit more work done, rather than just tracking simple and individual deals. Thirdly, you have Enterprise and this is not only where your sales cycle is taken care of, but you also have accounting, your deep analytics and your dashboards. And you're also going to get some insights from the business as well. So these are systems like Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, SAP, these typically take a longer implementation process. And if you're a smaller business with less than 20 employees, I'd recommend you just absolutely avoid days, the implementation is typically north of 50 to $100,000. And there's ongoing upkeep and maintenance fees, and particularly highly charged consultants get involved in the process as well. If you're a business and you're choosing which CRM software is going to be perfect for you. What was a couple of different metrics that I would recommend you consider when you're making a great choice? Number one is integrations. Will this software work with your other systems? Will it work with your accounting system? Does it have an API? Will it talk to Zapier so you can connect different apps to your CRM system? Are you going to be able to easily get data in and get data out as well? Number two is price and value. How much is this gonna cost you now? But also as you grow and scale? How much will it cost you in the future? Everyone's bought a cheap app online only to find out that as it grows and scales as you add more team members, all of a sudden you end up paying 1000s of dollars a month for the subscription. You want to watch out for that. Number three is expandability. Is this going to keep up with you as you scale? If you imagine your business three or five years in the future, is this piece of tech that you're choosing, still going to work as you have a large business is it going be future proofed for you? Is there an active development team? Are they building out new features in the software and the systems? Or has it stagnated? A little bit? These are the kind of things that I like to check before I'm going to make any choice with any piece of technology. Number four, access and usability. If you're working from different kinds of devices, like an iPhone, or an iPad, or an Android phone on the go, or maybe you want to work from the browser or work between different machines, is this the kind of thing where you're going to have to like software on your local computer? I don't think anyone uses apps like that anymore. But do you have the usability and ease of use view to work no matter what machine you're using? Or what device you're using? Number five is the implementation and maintenance? How easy is it going to be to move from your current system into the new system you're considering implementing? And are you going to have great support in the future? Who's it going to take to implement it? And how much is it going to cost you need to get external consultants in? And is this the kind of thing that you can modify and update yourself? Many systems are so complex, it takes expensive external consultants to even make small changes. And that can be a real drag. Now, we're a global partner for a CRM system called copper. And this is an amazing Gmail add on that actually crawls through your emails and uses the power of machine learning and artificial intelligence to make your deal making and relationship management much easier. Now, copper is not just for sales teams, it also is amazing for businesses that have any kind of relationship management that needs to be tracked. And for businesses that are using workspace, copper is our number one recommendation. Now you can add a new contact in copper with just one click. And it automatically brings in all of their information from Google and from public information as well. So you have all of your customers information in one place with you as you're working right there in your email. Not only that, but you can filter Gmail conversations to only show conversations associated with your copper records, meaning if you're in sales mode, and you don't want to be distracted by any other emails, well, coppers got a great way of working with that. It's got all the basics like email templates, and even a building out some amazing features like project management and email delivery. But one of the things that I love the most about copper is it has absolutely phenomenal reporting. Not only is the reporting great in the app, but you can also connect it to Google Data Studio. And if you'd like to rely on the help from our team, build out a custom dashboard for your team's business analytics. So these are tools that sit on top of Google. And if you're already using Google workspace, well, this is going to be a big, big boost to your team's efficiency and productivity. When you combine the power of copper and Gmail together, you're not only supercharging your inbox, but it also helps you and your team stay on track with relationships and making sure that deals are closed. If you're interested, please reach out to our team. There's a free consult down below.
