some video ads that we've run and I'm even going to show you full-on conversations that we are having with the leads to actually get them booked in our calendar another thing that we do is optimize then our more campaigns around scheduled appointments as you can see here we got 99 leads that came in from our landing page and over 50 percent of them actually booked think about how valuable that is these are exclusive leads that are raising their hand saying yes I want your company specifically because we brand it fully to come out to our home and actually convert then I could even show you what questions we are asking these leads right here like as you can see we're asking about cabinets countertops floor plans and then also we are asking about the lead details what do they want looking to redo kitchen and master bathroom and then on top of all of that we can actually see how much that lead closed for right and as you can see here this one is ninety seven thousand dollars and that's what they closed for and they came in from social media as you can see right here so we run these type of campaigns for companies all over the us so I have data on everything and I'm going to give you the best strategy that I have seen work first things first let's dive into the actual Facebook ads account so when you set up an account you want to shoot for leads that are around 30 to 40 dollars per lead again I like doing full remodels and and Full Construction I can briefly show you that here these are all kitchens and bathrooms this does work for tons of other home service companies as well but these ones are super expensive and so if we can manage to convert high priced projects like this you bet that all the other ones can also work that are slightly lower ticket the biggest takeaway here is you want to make sure that when you have a landing page meaning when leads are submitting their information you're not just asking for a name email and phone you want to ask for way more than that you want these leads to really qualify themselves so you're not chasing them around after they submitted their information and you have a survey filled out with like their zip code as you can see so we have name email phone zip code we ask about their cabinets we ask about their countertops we ask about their floor plan we ask what they want done we even ask hey what's the appropriate status for this project are you ready to hire right what is your timing like when would you like this request to be completed this is a very important question because if they're just Price shopping then you'll know hey yeah sure we can follow up with them but let's put them in the back burner right let's focus on the leads that are really serious and that are really that really want to get this stuff done here ASAP after they submit their information this is an example of a page that you want to send them to so a lot of times the issue that happens is the lead is at work they're sitting on the toilet scrolling their phone they see your ad but they're at work right they're at work they can't talk right away when you try to call them back in an hour guess what they're back at their desk right they're back in their office and they can't answer your phone call and so what ends up happening is your sales people or maybe it's you just forget to call them back and that's fine because you have all these other leads and all these other business responsibilities and that happens so what you want to do this is what I've seen work the best is get get them to book a phone call consultation so what you want to do essentially is have the lead submit their information but then also book a phone call with your team with someone from your team or it could be you this is not an in-home consultation all they're doing is booking a phone call and all you're doing is just chatting with them about their project and seeing if it makes sense for you to come out to their home and actually do an estimate and this trust me will save you a lot of time they'll save them a lot of time once they book in here they are going to get automatic text messages now if you don't collage image and then we take the offer and we tailor it towards some kind of holiday or some kind of event and that gets people to act faster so as you can see October Halloween special get a it this is a couple other image creatives that are fully custom and we like to use the images of the clients inside of the ad all in all Facebook leads a lot of them can be not really that qualified and we also like to test Google and we do like to test campaigns like this as you can see right so we're getting 29 leads right here as you can see average cost per click is four dollars uh you have way less impressions in Facebook but the leads can work very well on Google ads as well but still Facebook is is a killer you can absolutely close a lot of projects and even if you let's say don't have this whole system in place I still suggest you ask some questions if you just ask for name email and phone sure you can get more leads but they're not going to be quality we want people to jump through some hoops before actually applying to work with you because this is time I'm sensitive right this is your time that you are spending going out and talking to these people so we want to make sure that they're qualified and even if you add a couple questions like this this is a much simpler survey and form that we have are you the homeowner yes right what's the scope of the project okay kitchen or model timeline for the project when do you actually even want this once they fill that out they go to a survey page like this that way they can actually book in your calendar and they're expecting your phone call and you're not just cold calling them when they're busy when they're at work and they get reminders about when this phone call is so that is what we've seen work best you also want to retarget right so people that land on your website whether it's from SEO newspaper radio ads tv ads whatever else you might be running postcards you want to make sure that those people also start seeing your ads so they see your TV commercial your radio ad they go on your website and all of a sudden they're sitting on the toilet and they're seeing your ads in social media too right and I'm sure you've experienced this type of retargeting when you went to let's say Amazon and you're looking for a product and then all of a sudden you see that product everywhere it's a little bit
