How to create outlook signature

I'm going to give you a better way to sell accounts payable services to your clients come on in it is demo day we're looking at makers Hub the sponsor of this video I can tell you I sold AP to my clients and it was super hecking manual but check out this stat from makers Hub the average user reduces time spent on AP tasks by 90% what could I have done with that time okay the app is Makers Hub 90% like I that one of one of those those statistics I could actually see it for some of my clients that had really hairy AP stuff I I believe it so let's jump in I'm I'm just going to jump straight into what the secret sauce is here so this makers Hub I'm just going to hop straight into a bill to show you what's happening this is a customer receipt from Home Depot that is absolutely disgusting there is so much information here am I going to am I going to enter all this stuff probably not so this is the problem we've got use cases where you've got these wildly difficult wildly detailed receipts and invoices and we got to get all this detail in so check this out on the right hand side this is the stuff that makers Hub has pulled that is going to get synced back to QuickBooks all of these goodies the line by line the descriptions the unit counts and how all of those get Associated directly back to the accounting file that is an outrageous amount of data that for many businesses is absolutely Mission critical data they may use this for job costing estimating Cost Plus billing Bill jobbing even costom mating but as I told my plastic surgeon sometimes The Details Matter like they really matter now when you first connect your QuickBooks account to Makers Hub it is going to pull in your customers your jobs your vendors your chart of accounts and your items so that then when you review the bill inside of makers Hub you're going to make all those associ ation in a way that will push back nicely to the accounting file so it pulls in all the existing ones but you can also create new ones on the fly now there is some uh super wild custom logic stuff you can do with this stick around in the end I'm going to show that to you last because that's like if there's a place to make a pile of money here automating stuff for your clients that is where it is now approvals as you may expect are equally intelligent check this out so they've got a little approval UI you get like the approve but at the bottom left cool not impressed yet but they've also got like a whole custom logic thing of of who and like in what situations that goes to certain people for approvals more impressed use any property on the bill to like decide how that stuff works even add additional conditional approvers based on actions that an initial approver takes okay more impress and this one would have been a lifesaver for me approver groups so that anybody within that group can do the thing and progress the bill so when Jim is on the beach and he's not going to do that thing I can leave it noon on Friday instead of three now on the bill itself you can still assign an approver you can drop comments like to your team members uh they're going to get an email notification and then that email will pull them straight into the bill now once a bill is approved it gets pushed into QuickBooks it's got all all the goodies that we defined inside of makers Hub and even a little audit Trail here showing how this guy pushed in with a link to the original Bill if you got to bounce back to the document now this listen this isn't just for lifting all the goodies off the bill it's going to handle all your payments too so hop over here we got a payments View and you know like the biggest pain point for me especially a source of friction when I was paying bills for clients was making the most of discounts and we always had these situations where they didn't have the cash to pay and they would miss a discount and then they're like thanks a lot we missed the discount and I'm like make more money bro and we would schedule all this stuff ahead time you make the like you'd be fine but then you end up having to like change the amount of the invoice because you didn't get the discount anymore and it was just like a big source of frustration check this out this has like actually really intelligent handling of how discounts work and will Auto apply the correct discount based on the scheduled payment date yeah buddy I don't have to hop in and like keep changing it back and forth I love that uh check and H payments are always processed next day you got like a full audit Trail to be able to see where a payment is at at any given point in time and if you want you can set it up to send payment notifications to vendors now nerd alert let's talk automation The Secret Sauce the stuff that I got excited about the most Auto mapping rules so this is where you can like tailor this stuff to get super super client vendor specific because it is it's fiddly and it will make its best guess of how that stuff should work automatically but this is where you tailor it to Super dial it in that you basically never end up having to do the same thing manually twice right so let's hop into Auto mapping rules so here we're doing items and expense mapping you can create any number of filters that will handle stuff specific ways here you can see we can filter based on vendor name if it sees that in a document item number specific like item number even the descriptions for those items you can create lot like mapping logic if you see something in the description but for example let's say every time we saw the Home Depot we wanted it to rather than just Chuck it in an expense account call it a miscellaneous tool which is like an item from our QuickBooks file not just an expense account so map stuff logically first based on what you've set up on this items and expenses screen then it will fall back to what is on this chart of account screen so here similarly we can filter items and expenses the ways that they are processed see expense account income account asset account even sub items and so if it's not caught in what you set up over on the items and expenses tab it's going to be coded ing to the logic you set up in chart of accounts here and then last if you want if you use class tracking you can set up even how the classes work now this is the type of stuff I get super excited about automating for my clients because they come to me with this expectation of how much work goes into this and this could be several people pumping in time to just what is a very manual task and that business owner absolutely has better things that those people could be doing with their time but somebody's got to do it right and so that client comes to you with this perception of what the value of that work is well shoot I'm paying two people to spend half of their time doing this I see it I know that I can automate a lot of it and so I say cool like we'll take this on at 5,000 a month we'll do this stuff for you reality behind the scenes we're going to automate the heck out of it but that's the value of the work that we're doing and those two people can go do more valuable stuff now would your client rather go out and hire another person to do that work and free up those people and then have one more person to manage and all the overhead that comes with that or would they rather hire you the person they already trust to take that function over for them the answer is you they would way rather hire you and that is the beauty of finding the right software to
