how is everybody doing this is justin simpers with another edition i had i made very many literally kills me every time um so today i want to talk about becoming a student of your craft almost all sales people and and it's just it's a fact they do absolutely no reading of sales books like at all you know most sales people are average at best like at best like if you're watching this video and you're one of those people you're actually doing more than most people do which is trying to find something that might improve your current situation [Music] you know and then like yesterday um or the other day i talked about um mindset versus healing and i feel like that's probably like the biggest thing that is not talked about in this industry and today is really number two because you know when you want to become let's say a therapist like you have to go to college and get a degree and you study it and get your master's you know if you want to be a psychologist you would get your doctoral degree right like there's a lot of studying that goes on in those fields to do what you do if you want to be a salesperson that makes more money than doctors and you're not gonna put in the work to get there people that is just like that's a slap in the face like nobody is born a salesperson and if you're talented congratulations right congratulations it's great but i'll tell you right now some of the top producers are not the most talented people in fact most of them aren't top producers are people with grit and study and dig and go deep in their personal selves to discover who they are but really it's about reading and putting in the time in your off hours to come up with things that you can improve on through the discovery of words in a book you know when i started in sales as i talked about numerous times like the managers of of the timeshare spot we used to work at would actually have like get-togethers multiple times a week after the day was done to go over what we could improve but we would always watch a sales movie or role play and it was such a great environment you know to get brought up in because everything was revolved around making awkward situations and how to overcome them but really was becoming a student and becoming you know immersed into your craft you know that was a great springboard for me it taught me a lot right it did like a lot you know and we would you know um like role play like we would do a lot of that stuff but again it was all revolved around you know like practicing your craft and you know if you don't want to become you know an average salesperson which i would you know go out on a limb to say that nobody went into the sales industry just to get by right everybody's in this industry to kill it right to make it killing and that's what it it's like that's really what it's about right i mean obviously you sell something that you like or love if you don't you need to find that right but you know to kill it like you have to put in the time like you really do and it starts with reading like what you know like in ancient hilographics right they like they read but that's like a lost art these days you know audio books are great but you know read i implore you become a student anyway thanks so much tell me what you think tell people about me or not but have a nice day
