hi my name is david i'm the general manager of a small manufacturing company and today i'm reviewing act crm and i give the two out of five stars we were using a true crm before act what we were using was just a large spreadsheet to track all of our customer data act was a affordable software program in terms of it was hard media that we could on our network it wasn't a cloud-based solution at the time we liked some of the integrations that it had with microsoft outlook because that's how we typically interacted with customers by email so the price was right there wasn't an ongoing subscription and it seemed fairly easy to use getting started with act was fairly easy it's a very solid contact manager and we had the data for our customers so we were just able to input it pretty seamlessly into the software program as of now i would not recommend act there's more affordable crm options out there that can do more than just purely manage your contacts there's another a number of other programs i would recommend to someone instead of act you
