in this video I'm going to show you how you can automate client onboarding for your business so this would be for your agency or your SAS business and the way we're going to do this is with go high level I'll show you the funnel the automations the pipeline the forms Etc basically everything you're going to need to streamline your onboarding process so if you haven't already make sure that you subscribe and now let's get into it all right so the first thing we're going to need to do is create an onboarding form this is a form that you'll give to your clients that will give you a lot of information about their business and this will also help you finish setting up their account so we can just come over here to our says sites forms Builder add form start from scratch and then we could just name this form by coming over here and then we could just name it onboarding form so now I'm just going to quickly build out this form so we can start by doing full name and then we can do organization name and then we're going to need their phone number email and I'm just going to drag this up here so now I'm just going to finish building up this form and I'm going to show you what it looks like so this is the onboarding form that I created where I'm going to be asking my clients for their Facebook page their website link if they have one I'm going to ask them what cities do they service their time zone their business address and then any offers or promotions that they're running or have ran in the past and every business's onboarding form is going to be a little bit different depending on what you're offering or what type of information you need from your client so go ahead and build out a form custom to your business all right so now let's go ahead and build out a separate pipeline for our onboarding so let's exit out of here go to our say opportunities go to pipelines create new and then we can just name this Pipeline on boarding and for the first stage we could just do paid and then form submitted and right now you guys are probably confused but don't worry I'll show you what this means later so next I'm just going to do contract signed and then succcess all booked and then we can do just done just like that and then click save all right so this is what it will look like and again you could change this to however you like however you're going to structure your onboarding process but if you take a look right here first they're going to pay the invoice then they're going to fill out the onboarding form and then if you have a contract they'll then go ahead and sign that contract and then after they do they can book a success call and then after you finish the success call with them they'll be marked as done where they'll officially be onboarded so now I'm going to show you the onboarding funnel that will take your clients through this this process and all you have to do is send them this funnel and you should be ready to go your clients can be onboarded through this process and then if you guys don't have contracts you can just take out this step if you're reselling go high level as your own software most likely you guys are just going to be charging low ticket therefore you don't need to have any contracts but if you guys are charging higher ticket services for marketing or for whatever then I do recommend that you have a contract that you can give to your client that they can sign so let's go ahead and check out that funnel now all you'd have to do is come over here to our say sites and then I already have this funnel that I built and don't worry I'll have everything in this video down below as a snapshot all you have to do is click on the snapshot upload it to your go high level account and you'll have everything ready to go so let's go ahead and check out this funnel now there's going to be four steps of this funnel and the first step is going to be the payment page where you're going to collect payment let's go ahead and edit this page so as you can see here I would be charging $4.97 a month and then down here I included all the features that my client would be getting so all you would have to do is come in here change the price to whatever you're charging and then you can include down here the features that you're offering and when you're on the demo call with your client you could just go ahead and send them this funnel link where they could then go ahead fill out their information right here and pay for your software and then I do recommend when you guys are on the demo call with your clients that you do make sure that you collect payment at the end of the call don't just hang up the call send them the funnel link and hope that they pay it make sure that they pay because sometimes your client might change their mind or they'll take a long time finally getting to it and this will just delay your onboarding process all right so now let's go to the second step of this funnel so I'm just going to come over here edit this second page so on this page is where your client will fill out the onboarding form so we can go ahead and click here then come down here and and then click on our onboarding form that we created so there you go here it is so after your client pays for your software they'll then be taken to this page where they can fill out this form and then once they fill all this out and then click on submit they'll then be taken to the third step so I'm going to go ahead and show you that now so here it is let's go ahead and edit this so step three of this onboarding funnel is going to be where they're going to book a success call with you so all you would have to do is go ahead and add your calendar so you just come over here scroll down where it says calendar you can choose your success call calendar and then as you can see here your client can just come over here select the day that they want a time that they want and then when they click on continue that success call will then be scheduled so on this success call this is where you're going to show your client everything you're going to want to make sure that they feel comfortable using your product you're going to want to make sure that you answer any questions that they have you're going to want to make sure that their account is all set up and ready to go you have everything integrated any Facebook pages Google My Business Payment processors everything the client will need so after they're done booking an appointment they're going to be taken to the final step step four so let's go ahead and go over what that looks like so let's click here edit this page so on this page you can include a video welcoming them to your platform you can also show them how to log in how to access all their credentials and basically anything that you think your client will need on this page as well you can have an area like this where they can log into your platform so if someone clicks right here they'll be taken straight to my software also if you have any private groups for your business you can show them how to get access to the community here in this video and then if you want to you can also include a button where they can quickly join the community so that's going to be it for this onboarding funnel first you're going to collect payment then they're going to fill out the onboarding form next they're going to book a success call with you and then finally they'll be taken to this page where they'll get final instruction on what to do and how to log into your platform so now let's go ahead and create some automations for this onboarding funnel so I went ahead and created some automations for this process so the first one that I created was this one that's called paid and of course you can name this to whatever you want but basically this automation will trigger every time someone submits a order form on that onboarding funnel and then once they do they'll get a tag letting you know that they need to be onboard it'll also be updated into your pipeline and the pipeline that they're going to be updated in is going to be that onboarding pipeline that we created earlier and the stage would just be paid and we can click save action and then they'll receive a text message that says thank you we have received the payment please continue with the remaining steps to complete the onboarding process so the next automation is going to be called form submitted and this automation is going to trigger every time someone fills out your onboarding form so once they do that it'll just be updated in your pipeline and this is going to be the same onboarding Pipeline and the stage is going to be form submit so we could go ahead and click on Save and if you want to you can add on to this workflow so for example if someone paid for your services but didn't fill out the onboarding form you can go ahead and add an SMS and an email reminding them to fill out that form so let's go over the next automation so the next one's called booked success call and this will trigger every time someone books a success call on that funnel so first thing that will happen they'll be updated in your pipeline and then they'll receive a text message basically just confirming that appointment and they'll also receive an email basically doing the same thing and then 10 minutes before that success call meeting they'll receive a text message reminder that says see you in 10 minutes for our meeting and they will also receive an email reminder that will also remind them of the meeting and also send them the link to the meeting so now the final automation will be called done and all this automation will do is once you finish the meeting with your client they'll be updated in your pipeline as done and that tag that says needs to be onboarded will be removed so let's go ahead and see what all this will look like in your pipeline so here's what's going to happen when they go through that funnel once they pay you they'll automatically populate right here once they fill out that onboarding form they'll move to over here and then if you do want your clients to fill out a contract all you have to do is create an extra step in that funnel where they can sign a contract and you can also create a separate automation for when that happens as well so then once they book an appointment they'll automatically be dragged over here and then once you finish that appointment they'll automatically be dragged over here to where it says done so there you go guys again this is just a simple structure that you guys can use when onboarding your clients now you are going to want to customize everything to your own business and to your own offers so make sure that you create the form to your liking the funnel to your liking the pipeline and the automations as well and again if you want all this all ready to go I'll have it as a snapshot down below so I hope you guys enjoyed this video if you did make sure that you subscribe and I'll see you in the next video
