can I start generating leads online when I have no value to offer I'm going to answer that for you in this video so if you are brand new to online marketing maybe you're doing affiliate marketing internet marketing network marketing whatever it is that you're doing online that requires you to start generating leads that you can expose your offer to but you think you don't have any value in this video I'm going to give you a few tips and I'm also gonna give you some awesome resources that will help you start generating leads even if you're brand new and even if you think you don't have any value which by the end of this video I'm going to show you that you actually do so if you want to know how to start generating leads online for free even if you're new or have no value to offer my own journey of when I got started online way back in the day I feel like I'm one of these old school marketers who was around before even Twitter was a thing and when I first got started I was doing web design and I started asking myself questions which that's a really huge tips are asking yourself some questions right because the better questions you ask yourself the better answers you're gonna get so one of my first questions was how could I still make money even when I am NOT on my computer because even though I was working from home and even though I was servicing clients and making money by you know building websites for people I felt like I still created myself a job I had no leverage I had no income coming in if I wasn't actually working so I was like how can I start making money even if I'm not at my computer that led me down a path of opening up this world of affiliate marketing to me it's a long story short I bought a two thousand dollar personal development program and at the very bottom of that website it said affiliate program so I clicked on that affiliate program link cuz I really didn't know what affiliate marketing was back in those days and when I looked about you know when I looked to see what was involved with the affiliate program basically the company was saying that they would pay out commissions in the amount of $500 if you could get other people to buy this program at $2,000 by the way right so I was like okay I do like many of us do which is I started calculating in my head how much money I would make if I could just get a bunch of people to buy this $2,000 high-ticket program I'd make 500 bucks over and over and over again so what I did was I went out to forums and I was like a headhunter I was on the prowl I was looking for people who looked talented experienced in marketing already looking for people that already had a track record and saying hey have you heard about this program like this is the best thing since sliced bread you gotta check it out you look like the type of person that would really fit the bill for this particular program meanwhile I'm thinking in my mind that person's kind of made me rich and guys and gals that was the wrong thinking people are not that gullible especially if they already have success you know what I'm saying that is like a newbie mindset been there done that and that's why I can share it with you and kind of giggle about it now because I've done it I've done it and that stuff doesn't really work okay you might get one sale here and there taking that approach but that's not really where your long-term a value is going to be so thankfully this marketer who who now I've known him for many many years is an incredible marketer in the internet marketing space and I've told this story so many times and maybe one day he'll even see if he'll do an interview with me because I find it so funny that the first guy that I spammed was the guy who actually put me in our trajectory to commit to becoming a great marketer and what he told me was he didn't shun me he didn't shame me for being a newbie he didn't do any of that stuff you know what he did he offered correction said and I'm gonna paraphrase because it's been quite a few years but he said something to the effect of I respect your hustle that's not really the way to approach it but here's the thing if you keep on with your passion and with your commitment and your determination with the way that you are if you just get some marketing education you are going to be an incredible market or one day now it took a long time but you know it his kind words paid off right so he made me think in a different way I'm like okay this whole chain the money thing is not working how can I start generating leads for my opportunity without being this pushy you know spammy salesperson I need but I need leads and I need them today I need them now so what I learned instead was how can I create value in the marketplace that will compel people to want to take the next step in my sales process so here I have this you know or maybe you have a business opportunity and you need leads the only way to get people to voluntarily give up their name and email is if they feel they're going to get something in return that is going to help them remember most people are thinking what's in it for me they don't care about your situation they don't care that you're not making money or that you just got started or any of that they're thinking to themselves is this something that's gonna help me is this something's gonna work for me so you know if you are going around just chasing the money stuff then they're not going to really see the true value of what your opportunity has for them so this is what I did instead I created a value campaign and what that is is basically a lead capture page that has an opt-in form that shares something of value so what you can do which is what I did was I started to learn how to really generate leads online like how to create value in the marketplace and so that what I did was I did a simple you know like a five-day little you know bootcamp the kind of top people you know how to look for the right opportunity to join and how to align with something that you know aligned with their core values and things to look out for before choosing a business opportunity things like that right and so I'm not selling them on the opportunity straightaway I am creating value and educating them on internet marketing and how to start you know like I said choosing the right opportunity etc etc and then by the fifth day I was asking them to join me in what I was doing okay and because I did that because I slow down right and I stopped trying to just you know like go for the jugular and try to get you know people to join me straightaway and I took my time I created a little you know five-day little boot camp that created enough value for them to close themselves and then the lead started closing themselves so you might be asking yourself okay Barbie well I'm brand-new I don't know much how do I create a boot camp you know a value or whatever well here's a couple of things that I recommend that you do well if you're watching this video and you are asking yourself how do I start generating leads if I don't have a lot of value chances are you've already had some experiences that got you here already right that got you to this video so all you're missing is a little bit of creativity to help you come up with this little you know five-day little boot camp or something okay so let me go ahead and give you an idea so let's say for example you're watching my video and you've already gone out there and tried the wrong way what which is what I was doing the spamming the trying to sell the this and the other you've tried it and it doesn't work so what I would do is I would create and I'm not telling you I'm not guaranteeing that this is gonna work all I'm saying is here's an idea try it and see if it works so what I would do is something like five mistakes avoid when trying to promote your business opportunity online something like that so now it's like ooh I don't want to make mistakes I don't want to you know I don't want to make the same mistakes that this person made so I I want to I want to you know save time I want to get right to the jugular so you're going to share with them you know here are the five mistakes that I personally made that once I corrected them I finally had a breakthrough and etc etc etc okay so now that person is going to want to know what you did so they're going to enter their name and email and now they are a lead now they're not a lead for your opportunity at this point per se but they are open-minded enough to hear what you have to say about what they should avoid so day one could be how to avoid joining the wrong business opportunity and then you teach them something you know it depends on what you're looking for what is your budget do you have a high ticket do you want a low ticket this and that and just educate it on that and you can share your own journey your own process as to how you decided on the business opportunity that you're with okay on day two you know you can go on and you know flesh it out from there I mean you're gonna have to sit down and and think a little creatively do a little brainstorming and figure out what are the five things that you can teach in those five days okay and then at the end say if you want to avoid the same mistakes that I did and partner up with an opportunity that does this does this does this and it will help you avoid all these headaches then click on the link or right below and sign up with me in this thing and you'll fit that into what you're doing and then sit down and figure out how you can make this work for whatever it is that you are promoting see because at the end of the day I was sharing this with one of my team members that if all you do is lead with the money angle you are going to attract a lot of people they're gonna ask you how much money you're making how much money can I make all these things right and you're going to find yourself backed into a wall if you haven't made any money I had mentor once tell me this and it's super duper important he said if you market money or if you lead with the idea of money the burden of proof is always on you meaning if you're telling people oh this this business opportunities gonna make you a ton of money well guess what they're gonna expect that you're gonna keep showing them how much money you're making and guess what's gonna happen if you sign that person on the promise that they're gonna make a bunch of money and then they don't who do you think they're going to they're gonna blame you this is why I rather take the value route and give people education give people trainings teachings things that are actually going to help them things that offer transformational value things that they can apply to their business that is going to help them get a results and that way the burden of proof and the responsibility is on that person to take action on what you're teaching them you understand so then if I you know if that person doesn't apply what you're teaching them then the responsibility is on them okay and I learned that the hard way I learned that in the beginning and and I've been doing it pretty much like this ever since so this is why I rather lead with value because when you lead with value you will generate not only leads but you will generate more high-quality leads that are actually serious that are going to be patient that are going to put in the time to learn that they understand that they have to you know educate themselves and study and be a student and and apply what they learn right so rather than you know putting out there you know just about the money more often than not man if people don't make money really fast they're gonna quit or they're gonna blame you for why they didn't make money so I try to avoid that as much as possible now there's nothing wrong with sharing results every now and then it's kind of like the Gary Vee thing you know jab jab jab hook jab jab jab hook you can go ahead and give value and give value give value and then ask for the sale or you can give value give value give value and share some of your results so you're probably thinking okay barb gotcha I'm gonna do a five day course I'm gonna sit down I'm gonna brainstorm this I'm gonna figure this out I'm gonna see how I am going to apply this to my business but in the meantime I need to generate leads like yesterday okay well that is where my educational platform comes in I leverage this educational guess what in order to get the training they have to enter their name and email so they become a lead on my list so what happens on the back end of this funnel is after they get their training they're not only exposed to the training and that same attraction marketing system but they're also exposed to my primary offer okay so if you do not have value of your own or if you are in the process of getting value ready and getting like a little bootcamp ready for people to go through then what I recommend you do is you sign up for mlsp which is the marketing platform that I use I leverage it like crazy yes I'm already at a level where I create my own digital products I already have my own lead capture pages I already have my own funnels but there's why not leverage other stuff you know what I'm saying so LSP has things that they're already created for me so I'm gonna give you a quick little screen shot of what you can do you can come right into the back-office inside of mlsp and they have multiple campaigns that you can check out and all you do is grab the link it's already coated with your affiliate link and just go ahead and grab like the headline how to do this then the other okay you can post that in facebook groups hey check this out how to you know generate leads on social media or how to whatever the campaign inside mlsp is promising and then you can you know do a little post that has value and you can either ask people to contact you or say leave info below you know like comment info and then you'll send them the thing back or you can just post the link inside the post as well okay so all I do I just put those links right in my description box and that generates leads and it also passively exposes people to my primary affiliate program so hopefully that helps give you some ideas on how to start generating leads and creating value in the marketplace even if you feel like you don't have any value just yet you can with the resources that I share with you in this video today you can borrow value from something that already exists while you work on creating your own and let me just leave you with one last thing you do have value you know why because there's something that makes you different from everyone else in this world there is no money there is no opportunity there is nothing in this world that can replace the thing that makes you unique that thing that makes you special the thing that separates you from everyone the thing that is actually your asset and maybe all your life you've thought it was your detriment and that is your story your dreams and the desires of your heart okay those are the things that make you unique those are the things that make you valuable and just sharing those things with other people in a truthful honest and humble way will get you pretty far I promise so don't ever think that you don't have value however you can always increase your value in the market place but don't think that because you don't have that value in that market place yet meaning people are ready to pay for it that you yourself are not valuable because you are okay so all you have to do is increase your value so that you're more valuable in the market place and then people are more likely to want to listen to you trust you and buy from you and that starts with giving away things of value just like I shared with you today or sitting down brainstorming and figuring out how can you create something of value to share with others that will lead people from becoming a lead in your sales process to signing up with
