hey there guys Alex here from s and in today's video I'm going to be talking to you about onboarding forms and how you can incorporate them into your workflow let's get into it all right first let's talk about different kinds of forms that you have on S you have contact forms that allow you to collect inquiries from your clients so you're able to answer them you have order forms so you're able to get paid and third you have intake forms that allow you to collect more information about the project once your client has checked out in order to make your order form simpler and now we have onboarding forms which allow you to collect more information about your client as if it was an extend to their profile this way if your client's creating multiple orders you don't have to keep asking for the same information over and over this is going to be helpful if you need to collect more information from your clients such as if they have different brands or just other information that we don't store in their profile by default there are two different ways to get your clients to fill out these onboarding forms the first one is to go to their client account from your admin dashboard and just assign the onboarding form directly to them like so the other method would be to put a link directly to the onboarding form somewhere on their portal for example if I sign into this client account over here you'll be able to see that we have the onboarding form in the sidebar that they can access or you can set up a button on top of their nav bar to take them directly to the onboarding form another thing worth noting is that these onboarding forms can be updated at any point by the client any information submitted by the client on an onboarding form is going to be visible in their account so if I go back to the admin site over here you'll be able to see the onboarding form show up directly over here and if I check out the submitted one you'll see the information that the client provided hopefully these forms make your workflow a little bit easier on S and thank you so much for watching [Music] is
