have a warranty so you got to pay for it you're still making your 400 monthly payment and now you're writing a check for 400 out of your pocket then let's say you drive the truck for 10 months nothing breaks look how happy you are Mr and Mrs Johnson you're fired up look at that yeah life is good then all of a sudden right here in November guess what heater core goes out well it's in the winter so guess what you got to fix it so it costs twelve hundred dollars okay that month you paid a 400 a month of payment which is your payment and then also you pay twelve hundred dollars well since we're talking about a monthly payment and we're budgeting we're going to take the 1200 you spend here plus the 1200 to spend here that was 2400 for the year we're going to divide that by 12 months in a year because we're talking about monthly payments so how much money will it cost you a month for monthly payments well it's going to cost you the 400 payment you're paying to the bank and then also your 200 you're paying for maintenance I'm not the best at math but how much money is it going to cost you a month to own your old vehicle between maintenancing it and your monthly payment to pay to the bank 600. now in the new vehicle 600 a month is your monthly payment if you're driving down the road something breaks how much is going to cost you nothing if you're driving down the road and the engine goes out they cost ten thousand dollars for an engine how much money is going to cost you zero six hundred plus zero and zero is six hundred now I'm not the best at math but if we were literally step back for a minute we were talking to your banker and I said hey I got a beautiful 2016 F-150 with 80 000 miles it's going to cost you 600 a month to own but now I've got a 2022 F-150 with 10 000 miles it's going to cost you 600 months old which one would you want to own sign right here Mr and Mrs customer there you go guys that right there is how to use a warranty close when all this money I just want to show them that look dude at the end of the day if that truck was that and that truck was out there with the same money which one would you want you'd want the newer one
