hello everyone this is Abhishek welcome to Salesforce cpq sales in this video I am gonna show you how to generate contracts in cpq so let's get started so here I have a code I'm gonna add some products on this code and one of the product I am going to select is one time purchase and one product as per the subscription basis okay so here uh I have two products one is accidental damage insurance which is a kind of support Pro product and here I am gonna provide the subscription details okay so I'll come down subscription I'm pricing I'm selecting as fixed price and subscription term I have giving it as 12. okay and this is one of the uh one time product which I am gonna include over here go to edit lines add products so this is our five kilowatt hour battery and this is accident Insurance product click select now as you can see these products came now I am changing the subscription term to 24 which is like our two years click calculate now as you can see uh the five kilowatt battery prices remained the same but accident Insurance product prices change to thousand why because we have given it as a subscription product and for 12 months we have we have set the price as five hundred dollars and for 24 months that's gonna double now I'm clicking save to save this code now uh first step is to create the order so I am coming down clicking this checkbox ordered click save now go to related tab it's gonna create the order record for this code click on it as you can see these two products came under this order as order product records and for accident damage you can you can see that unit price came as thousand dollars okay now uh I'm gonna activate this order so this order is activated now go to the details of order come down and check the contractor check click save now uh go to the related tab as you can see the Contracting process is started it's in queue and meanwhile I'm just opening the account record as well so whenever you are generating a contract from an order if you have order products as subscription product then it's gonna generate the order and it's gonna add the subscription records under that contract if the products included are one-time purchase product then it's gonna create asset records for them and add on the account record so I'm gonna show you that first go to related click refresh and account also go to related click refresh so under this order you can see this contract record is created I will open it and under the related tab as you can see our accidental damage Insurance product was a subscription product so it has created a subscription record under this contract okay now let's go to the account and go to related tab scroll down and under the assets related list you can see the 5 kilowatt battery which we have included that came as an asset record under the account okay apart from that count you can even see the contract record as well this is 108 here your contact record as well so that is the process of generating contract and if it is a a standalone product one-time purchase product then how to generate asset records for them so that was about all about this video if you like it please like it and comment on it for more please subscribe my channel thank you
