hey guys so i am going to explain what a sales funnel is because a lot of people um really aren't sure what a sales funnel is or maybe have a general idea of what a sales funnel is so basically a sales funnel is your customer's journey from not knowing you at all to buying your stuff i'm going to give you an example of my itsy shop funnel now i want to let you know that funnels are going to be different there's all types of funnels but the gist is basically the same um so in this example my etsy shop funnel this first box here is for traffic so a lot of people will get traffic through um organic or through paid so organic is free um like instagram facebook uh pinterest youtube um it's just gonna take a little bit longer to like funnel those leads right you have your paid traffic so you can pay for ads usually um with organic traffic um people will share their content so like a blog or something like that or they'll create a lead funnel so in my case i have the free website planner um and then from there um so once they sign up for the for the website planner they're gonna get a email from me with the website planner and i'm gonna send them a series of emails after that so maybe i'm gonna talk about the different sections of the website planner and kind of help them through that right so i'm providing them value at the end of that uh email automation i'm going to pitch them my offer my next offer right now in a sales funnel you don't necessarily have to have all of these and a lot of times when you're first starting out you don't um but maybe my next offer is a um a challenge a low ticket challenge so um they are um trying to create their website so like i'm just thinking about the the type of person who's gonna set up sign up for a website planner right um they may know that they need to create a website they want to create their website but they have no idea where to start so they've been you know procrastinating on it right they see my website planner for free and they're like oh yeah like i definitely need that right then at the end of the email series that i've given you know a ton of value on um the next step is the next step for them would be okay well now that i've planned my website uh i actually need to build my website right and so now i'm i'm i'm giving them the next logical step right so my next logical stuff is this um do-it-yourself website bootcamp challenge right and so uh it's it's low price it's like usually with the low ticket offers you really want it to have be high value and just low price because this is essentially like the the first impression that somebody has of you and you want to make sure that you're making it a good impression you know i've seen a lot of times where people have a lot of times when they have freebies um they really don't put too much effort into it and that that makes people not want to invest in your services if your free stuff is not even good usually when you see people with really good free stuff it makes you super interested in their paid stuff for low ticket offers usually people are paying for traffic um for the low ticket offers because um you know they're trying to um they're trying to get the customer quicker instead of going like the free route so then um usually you know usually people aren't going to make money off of this but people do especially if you're adding like a order bump or like an oto so for like the order bump you know sometimes people might have an objection like yeah i really want to create a website but you know i don't have my um my branding done so then i'm like okay well here's some logo templates uh for seven dollars and they're like yeah this is great and they're going to add that to their cart right and then you can also have like oto like a one-time offer sometimes when people put that on the back it kind of depends on what this is right because this low ticket offer doesn't always have to be a boot camp challenge it could be like a mini course or a workshop or something like that um and then from there so like for this one for the boot camp challenge i'd probably just be pitching them my website templates um during the challenge because it makes sense so yeah some people are going to want to do it themselves but some people are willing to spend you know a little bit more money to you know have it halfway done and then you know there's gonna be even more people that are gonna or not even more than maybe um people that are gonna say well it's like i don't even wanna do this myself maybe they thought they did um or maybe they're just like i don't have any i don't have any time so you know i'm gonna do the done-for-you services so this section right here is like your core offer it's like the offer that you want to be known for um and then this is usually like this is usually for existing uh customers like your super fans so for me this is this is this is my funnel because um i actually i didn't um really advertise this and sometimes that's the case um people just would ask me and i'd just be like oh yeah i can do that like i can create the website so um i think i have another slide here for my agency funnel and so you can see it's like basically the same thing except for um instead of it going to my itsy shop it's going to uh my done-for-you services so business intensive that leads to um done-for-you services right and then you can see here at the higher level it's like ongoing services which is like maybe like seo or or um maybe like add-ons like um a canvas suite of templates or something like that or a branding um or a website so then um so yeah so that is a sales funnel basically taking your customer from not knowing who you are to buying your stuff right so you know if you you know if you especially if you have you know higher priced um offers it's gonna be really hard for somebody to be like oh yeah like i'm gonna spend a thousand dollars on that you usually gotta warm them up a little bit and they say you know seven times at least so um what i do is i create the like actual funnel so um you know usually it includes sales pages so like maybe the sales page for this low ticket offer the order bump and then the oto the bundle of templates maybe with the the free planner right so all of this right here right and it's really going to depend because there's a lot of different types of like funnel setups but i would be setting that all up uh designing it and then building it out on like your platform so um like click funnels or something like that or group funnels and then um you know setting up the tech and making sure that you know they are uh getting the things that they signed up for or they paid for so yeah so there there's plenty of ways that you can you know set up your funnel i mean you you'll see a lot of time you know people will like people don't even have websites and you know they'll be doing instagram lives or something like that and then they'll just send people to their checkout page right to just go ahead and buy it and that's perfectly fine you could definitely do it that way right but a lot of people the reason why they want a sales funnel is because they want it to be more automated right so like if you take a look at um this funnel right here um i like there's nothing that i have to do right here right so i've already created the planner they get the planner and then they're automatically going to get offered this bootcamp challenge now this could be live like maybe the first round but then i could just record it and it's there right and so now they're just watching recorded videos right or i could just have it as like a video series um and then from there you know i'm offering up my website templates it's already there right so i'm not doing anything there's nothing that i have to do here right so it's um it's evergreen anybody can sign up at any time um and there's nothing that i have to do on my end so that's all that's why people create sales funnels um in like sales pages and stuff like that is because they want it to be automated like to have a sales page you know you're basically selling them through the sales page where somebody on them on instagram live is selling them on the live right so you know you're going to want to have a sales page and sales page could be a webinar as well you could do it that way but either either way you're selling them and so if you do it on a webinar it's just like an instagram live except for it's not live right it's a webinar it's evergreen right and then with the sales page you know they're just reading you know um the the pitch basically and then they're deciding to buy from there but by the time they get to your sales page they've they've gone through all of this with you they know you they know who you are and they're ready to buy and you've set it up in in a way where it makes sense um that this is this is exactly what they want right you you walk them through you know all of the steps right and of course you may have people that come in who are like yeah i know that i want website templates of course right we're trying to catch that cold traffic and send them through so um yeah that is what a sales funnel is
