share with you but before I do that okay I'm going to actually demo it so hold tight I'm going to show you exactly how it worked but before we do that I kind of just want to share a story when I started my Freight brokerage back in 2003 I knew right away i' had been an entrepreneur I had been in sales for many years and I knew that we needed leads we needed leads that not only I could call but my team could call on right and back then we were heavy cold call only that's what we would do it was kind of a smile and dial type of type of outfit and you know we evolved over time but the point was I knew we needed leads and so a lot of times you know our favorite places to go get leads were to go to retail stores like grocery stores or Home Depot or Lowe's or just different stores retail stores look on the Shelf look on the racks look at what people were buying the actual physical product and then write down the name right write down the name I mean back then smartphones weren't even really a a thing right they had just kind of kicked off and so it wasn't like you could easily take a good picture of the product with the with the name and address you wrote down I remember had lists I remember having notepads with lists and lists and lists of of company names and addresses and then we would have to do some research on the phone number and it was very time consuming very time consuming right now the data was pretty good but because we actually got to see the product that was a big Advantage but the thing is is it was very time consuming and then as the internet continued to evolve the data access to data has gotten better not only better access but better quality so over the years and because that was again 20 years ago when I started my Freight brokerage data has become more accessible that's one of the things that the internet has really helped solve so there are tons of locations out there where you can get data but the thing is you know the data source that I'm going to share with you today has access to over 60 million companies okay 60 million companies in over 250,000 contacts right and you can access these for free so that's why I wanted to share it with you today I know a lot of people struggle finding uh leads their Niche for example if they're looking for bottle beverage companies they're looking for people in the steel industry or they're looking for building supplies or import export or produce you know companies or agricultural companies or oil and gas whatever the niche is I know that sometimes people have really struggled with narrowing down that Niche and building a list of leads that are specific to their Niche so that's what I want to share with you today bear with me one second because I'm actually going title for let's say for example it's Logistics manager okay and maybe we want to also include shipping manager this is just an example of how you can go in and search for these titles and then we want to find companies that are in the United States right we want to be in the United States hypothetically that's just a part of the niche and then we're going to go into Industries right so like I said to you before for example if you are in the let's say you're in food production okay you want to do it's your food specific all right so here's what you can see right now instantly it was able to pull up over 1,700 leads okay 1,700 leads of people that are either Logistics or shipping managers that are in the United States now if we want to take this down even further we can go in into and do a search by employees say we want to limit it we don't want really big companies we want small to mediumsized companies we can now limit that by company size and now we've got 769 leads that literally took us 60 seconds 60 seconds to identify the company name the title and the company or I mean the actual contact the the title and the company name in 60 seconds and that was all free you pay absolutely zero for that data but you had access to it instantly so as a free tool it's amazing okay now there are paid features to this of course right for example if you want their access to their
