can improve your convertibility on site and it maybe point out a few things that you could be doing wrong that could really help your results yeah there's really just a few key elements that if you implement you can go from say turning 2% of your website traffic into leads to even possibly 10% or more which we've seen on on mini client website so today we're going to talk about just a few key elements that you can adjust on your site to turn more of that traffic into valuable leads for your business number one thing really is first impression right people land on there if you've got an ugly site if you've got a site that's loading slow if there's just no value on that page when they land on it then they're probably going to click the back button and leave and that can be anything from brand elements design photographs with their stock images versus original images a really cool one-liner that I call as a differentiator or separator statement all those things are important to create that first impression if they're not impressed then they're probably going to leave right you've got to compel me to either call you or submit a webform with my information so before I even have to scroll on your website I should see your value proposition a contact form and your phone number those are your strongest selling points those you have a better chance of really compelling me to give you my information or call ya if you don't have somewhere for somebody to submit their information right there after they search for you and they find you then that can be a huge factor to not converting them like Nate was saying the second thing really when it comes down to form submissions and phone numbers is you need to make sure that they're actually correct a lot of people are a lot of our clients that we've worked with the codes wrong or the form goes to another email or they're not even checking their spam folder in their email for some of those leads so a lot of times the leads are coming in the marketing is working your website's doing really well the first impression is great your forms above the fold your phone numbers up there in the top right corner easy to click but it's it's not being received by you could be a huge problem you know especially in the early stages of your business and even if you check in a few days later I mean that hot lead is now cold they've probably already contacted your competitor and gotten a price or even purchased the service already what do you call it when they're like tapping the number and it's not working yeah they tap the call just tap to call and you got to make sure that that's working because we're one if it doesn't work then the person has to copy and paste now you're making it very hard for them to contact you so ensuring that that's in working order and really going through the website yourself trying to put yourself in the position of your customers a great idea and even have your friends hey I got my website up and running can you test us out and tell me about your experience yeah it takes a few minutes just to run through everything and it taptic all the big things a lot of it's a term that a lot of people business owners don't understand and it's so important because it's what you used on mobile to contact you right now if that link basically is what it is isn't connecting to your cell phone to make that call then they're just gonna be like oh this isn't working the websites not working that first impression is kind of so-so not able to contact them what does this company doing they're probably not gonna be able to serve me well so all these things tie in to your convertibility on site not just the design not just your pictures not just the copy it's really the functional elements that need to be checked out first and in always you know ask if you're gonna be talking to people about testing stuff ask for feedback ask for them to give you their honest opinion of what their impression is so that that way you're able to fix that before you go live yeah and another one is social proof have your testimonials pretty high up on the page as well so now they've gotten your value proposition they've got ways to contact you they scroll down a little bit they see some social proof you're happy five star customer reviews those are great ways to get people to take action we'll go over that in another video as far as how to create compelling on page copy you know why is it important to do landing pages stuff like that all these things work together your goal online should be to maximize your ability to convert people that see you for the first time if you don't have supporting statements you don't have authentic content you don't have people that believe in your
