How to create outlook signature
in this video we're going to walk you through organizing your shipper contacts when you're reaching out to shippers at different locations and facilities and organizing that as well as even if you have bids and rfps all within sales Dash CRM what's going on everybody my name is Josh Lyles I'm the founder for sales Dash we are one of the only crms out there built specifically for freight brokers and logistics companies you can check it out at sales.crm.com and feel free to like And subscribe for any videos that we post on freight broker sales Outreach and prospecting here on YouTube let's jump right into it so again as you look to add specific shippers there's going to be times as a freight broker when you're reaching out to them in your sales Outreach they have multiple facilities and at times those facilities can have different contacts that actually handle the shipping operations at those unique facilities some of them could be larger facilities some can be smaller but you as a free broker should be reaching out to all of them right because you're trying to earn their business you're trying to start servicing and start running their Freight so with that it can be a little complex because you've got one name one account and then you've got let's just say four facilities and four contacts sometimes you're reaching out to multiple contacts at one facility so rcrm makes it easy you can you know keep track of all your calls emails so we're going to walk through all that so let's go ahead and pull up a shipper this one's not real but I've got South Carolina steel here um rcrm again pretty makes it makes it pretty simple to be able to pull up websites LinkedIn pages that kind of stuff for prospecting but from an organization standpoint um you've got the first thing you've got is contacts so you're going to be able to add contacts as you go you can import them from a lead generation tool like Zoom info Apollo Hoover's just directly into the CRM so that way it's much easier and faster for you to prospect but you can see here I can see the job titles you can even manually put in the at the actual facility in parentheses which is something that a lot of people do to be able to see that at a glance here all these contacts are going to have their own unique Pages where I can log my calls with them just from this area and I can still see my notes from my previous calls in the same view and then also on top of that I can email directly out of the platform with my Google or my Outlook integration whichever email platform that you use and those automatically get logged into the activity timeline on top of that you'll get open notifications that pop up in this area here so going back to the actual account again I can have all the contacts all of my activity from each of those contacts is going to be fed into the account so whether I'm a sales manager and I'm trying to hold myself people accountable to know okay have we reached out to each facility and all the contacts and I don't have to ask when the last time it was because I can see it from the CRM here or if I'm a salesperson just wanting to know okay when was the last time that I actually reached out to each facility it's really easy to monitor all out here from the activity timeline I can see I reached out to the main line here or I reached out to Whitney here I reached out to the Charleston location here cam Bailey so there's it's all going to be fed into the activity timeline there next is going to be deals so for those that have used CRM software before you're typically going to have pipeline management features which we have in sales Dash and in many crms it's either labeled as deals or opportunities that you add into your pipeline so in sales Dash we do it as deals and this is where it's probably the easiest to actually organize the different facilities plus your rfps and bids whenever you're adding them for a specific shipper so in this example for South Carolina steel I've got three different facilities here Baltimore Marietta Georgia which is where I'm from uh and then Charleston South Carolina so I can do this again for the facilities or if I've got RFP you know Q4 2023 or if I just got the RFP for or the bid for 2024 I can always create those as a deal just to keep those continuously organized as time goes on and you can see Marietta Georgia here is an active shipper because it's a one deal but Baltimore and Charleston are still in the discovery phase and uh so you know I gotta I gotta work through some of these um just so you know they can actually become an active shipper and I can track where they're at in my sales process so I just moved this one over to pricing just as an example in in this video here so again pretty simple to be able to add the deals and organize it that way but this is where when you are actually trying to track the different locations and working your way in at least to one location to start off hopefully eventually get to a referral to some other locations you'll be in a much better spot there so hopefully this video helps I know organizing can sometimes be a pain point for those that are doing shipper Outreach been in the industry previously myself and overseeing two sales teams and um it's quite the battle at times but if sales Dash is a CRM that you may be interested in checking out again we're the one of the only ones that are focused and specifically in the logistics and Freight brokerage space I have free brokerage experience myself I'm leading two sales teams to help them on board over 180 shippers in a two-year period with 14 skills reps be more than happy to schedule a demo with you on our website it's sales crm.com does not take long at all to go through the demo be happy to show you exactly everything that we have right now and also what we're looking to build and you can always start a 14-day free trial at any given time if you wanted to just sign up and try the CRM out and see if it can help with your shipper prospecting Outreach and organization again my name is Josh I'm the founder over at sales Dash appreciate you taking the time to watch the video
