running a few errands had a bunch of stuff i had to get what have you got well like my email said this is a discovery call for us to get to know each other a bit would you like to round up to seven support team that helps move our projects forward i definitely don't do it all myself only want to work with one person i have a special price for that type of client and that prices go somewhere else great to meet you tell me a bit about your business yeah so uh well my real question is is if we start taking payment in bitcoin does that mean we have to nope here's the thing when that person keeps pushing for an answer on a very specific question as soon as you give them that answer you're never going to hear from them again they want a bit of free advice and they'll be on their way and that's good for them but that's not good for you so how did he find our firm well i've been working with this other guy for a while but he told me it'd be best to look for a new firm so did they retire or no to be honest i'm not sure why and i don't want to find out it just seemed like every year we're getting these big increases in fees welcome to professional services this is a big one and you want to be careful you aren't just collecting the price sensitive clients from every other firm in town when those other firms increase prices otherwise before you know it you'll have collected all the cheapskates and temp listen i'm here because i don't like paying tax you don't like paying tax do you that's why i left my last guy yeah this guy's usually a friend of the creativity guy you like the color outside the lines i just been having a heck of a time finding an accountant that'll work for us we've gone through three in five years there are a lot of bad accountants out there there actually are and this might be a reasonable person but when you're making decisions on limited information it can be easy to think oh this time it'll be different we'll solve their problems yep you probably
