welcome back to the channel guys Sean from catch22 non-profit marketing here the nonprofit agency that helps you nail it scale and Thrive with your organization today's video is all about the top five crms for your non-profit but before we dive into that video don't forget to smash that like And subscribe button it helps our Channel grow helps me be able to produce more great content for you because there's not a lot of content on YouTube apparently for non-profit marketing so go ahead smash that button and now let's dive in so I talked about this a couple times in some of our Facebook groups about the top five crms for non-profits I happen to be a big Salesforce fan and I'll dive into that in part of this video but there are so many different crms out there and nobody knows really what's what and what the difference is and what makes a CRM so good so I went through and did the research myself and compiled the list of the top five crms out there that I think are very viable for your organization and they're cost effective not not only because they're inexpensive but you also get discounts as a non-profit so the first one I'm going to talk about is Salesforce happen to be a big fan of Salesforce we do a lot of work with Salesforce we work with organizations to build Salesforce too and one of my favorite Parts about Salesforce is that you get a free account with up to 10 users in it for your non-profit organization and when you're working with Salesforce Salesforce is extremely malleable it works with so many different things it can has so many different automations that you can import and do and you can create donor Management Systems custom donor Management Systems within Salesforce specifically this is why Salesforce created salesforce.org for non-profits to be able to give them their own specific CRM that is good for them and so that being said you can create your own custom donor management system you can create automated email marketing campaigns you can create follow-up marketing campaigns you can segment out your donors into which stages of donate of awareness they're in and all sorts of things and Salesforce again it's free for non-profits the only thing with Salesforce is you're going to have to find someone to help you build and maintain your system but because you're saving on the licenses that is a very big benefit and there are grants out there that you can use for technology grants they can get someone that you can get sponsored to have somebody be your sales force developer next one is HubSpot HubSpot similar to Salesforce is more marketing oriented than Salesforce it does similar things it has more a few different tools that Salesforce doesn't have some people like HubSpot better than Salesforce some people don't really like HubSpot that much I found that HubSpot is a marketer HubSpot is a very very good CRM for marketing for for marketers it's also good for non-profits because you not you don't get 10 free licenses like Salesforce but you get a significant discount and you don't need a developer on hand to work at your hotspot system so to speak you need someone to help you set it up but you don't need to have a full-time developer continuously working on setting up and working and building your HubSpot stuff also with HubSpot you can do email marketing you can do email you can do email automations you can use it as a platform and a means for all your emails and you don't and create a custom donor Management Systems known to dashboards which is a big plus because that is something we as nonprofits need and we need to make sure we have a donor management system because otherwise we're up a creek so that's HubSpot and it's pretty good I personally think it's a very good system and a lot of people can agree with that I'm going to put links to all these different crms in the in the comments as well as a link to techsoup so you can apply and get the discounts ingly the next one I'm going to be talking about is a CRM it's called a vertical CRM actually it's created by a company based out in in New Jersey in New York and they originally started as a custom CRM system for business brokers but then they pivoted to White labeling their system for all types of companies and they have a specific non-profit program as well where it's extremely inexpensive extremely extremely inexpensive and it's all open source so you can customize however you want to be it's more customizable than Salesforce to an extent but you need to work with their team to be able to do things and within vertica CRM they have a fantastic parsing tool they have a fantastic email marketing tool they have a really really strong and smart automated donor management system where you can track all your donations you can see everything from top of the funnel to where it's holding now and it has a lot of features that you would really really enjoy they also have their own document signing tool so that way you can sign contracts you can sign checks you can sign all sorts of things they have a document signing tool that's on the same level it's actually a little bit better than my personal opinion and it does very very well so that's vertica CRM I'll drop that link below Zoho is the next one on my list I went through Zoho Zoho is very simple very basic and it doesn't necessarily A lot of people like it because it's inexpensive it's good for smaller organizations who are managing a one to five one to ten people in within the company not such massive organizations but then again Salesforce and HubSpot can all be used for that same capacity as well but but Zoho it's a smaller product it doesn't have that many features as the other ones do but if you're a small basic organization looking to have some sort of management system have some sort of contact management system and donor management system it's perfect for you and the last one on my list is actually Pro I use is called high level you can cut it's it's a CRM that was built for marketing agencies by marketing agencies but you can customize it to work within your organization and create your own dashboards and create your own tools and create your own automations and everything kind of plugs into high level and it's very cost effective as well and you can create there's unlimited licensing there's unlimited accounts that you can work within it and it's it's really really cool because you can really create custom dashboards based on what you are looking to do and custom automation is based on what you're looking to do and it's a really strong tool that enables your organization to be able to grow Thrive and scale they have automatic you can send out SMS through there you can send out email follow-up you can even make phone calls through there like all the other ones and it's a fantastic tool very inexpensive highly recommended so these are my takes on the top five crms for non-profits that you should be looking into all the links are going to be below in the comments in the description as well as link to techsoup so you can apply for these discounts go ahead take advantage of it and don't forget to like And subscribe
