how would you deal with a customer complaint i would deal with a customer complaint by always following the company rules and guidelines that are set down so whatever guidelines you have for me to follow i would always make sure that i followed them whilst dealing with a customer complaint i would always be professional and positive at all times and remember that i am representing your company brand so first and foremost i would listen to the customer and i would let them speak because if the customer gets the opportunity to speak about how they feel about their frustrations then this enables them to feel valued and appreciated which is really important when dealing with complaints i would demonstrate empathy and i would apologize as soon as i realized the organization had made a complaint i would then ask them probing questions to gather as much information as possible about the complaint and i would then come up with at least one resolution a solution to their problem and i would then put that solution to them and say this is what i propose to do are you happy with it because that's important you need to get confirmation from the customer that they are happy with what you are proposing once the situation had been resolved i would then follow up and speak to them again perhaps a day later just to check that they were still happy and if there was going to be a delay between the customer complaint and me did managing to resolve it i would keep them informed every step of the way finally i would look for ways to resolve the complaint to prevent it from happening again in the future so i might speak to my manager or my team leader and say this complaint has happened is there a way that we can prevent it from happening again so that's the process i would follow when dealing with any company complaint thank you thank you so that was a very concise answer to that difficult interview question how would you deal with a customer complaint and in a second i am going to give you the exact script to use when answering this difficult interview question but first of all here are three really important tips to help you how would you deal with a customer complaint tip number one always say you will follow the company guidelines in respect of customer complaints you should also say you will remember that you are representing their company whilst dealing with the customer so on that basis you will be entirely professional throughout how would you deal with a customer complaint tip number two my advice is to say that you will use the following process when dealing with any customer complaint so step one you will listen to the customer step two you will ask them questions because this then helps to make the customer feel valued and
