I couldn't conduct my business without contracts and this makes the hassle of downloading, printing, scanning, and reuploading docs virtually seamless. I don't have to worry about whether or not my clients have printers or scanners and I don't have to pay the ridiculous drop box fees. Sign now is amazing!!

How to create outlook signature

the software development industry wouldn't be where it is without the need for qa testers a quality assurance tester or qa tester plays an important role in the development process of any software application they are responsible for evaluating the quality and usability of features that have already been developed by programmers in short it's their job to find bugs before it's too late we interviewed michael clark to get an inside view of life as a qa tester at the award-winning digital agency silver chip hi my name is mike i'm the qa tester here at silk chip and i've just been working here just about under a year now and thought i'd walk you through with you in my life i usually start working around so half nine in the ish somewhere between nine and ten if i'm working from home usually i'll grab a coffee make some toast or some cereal enjoy both of them while checking my emails catching up with any missed team messages and looking through my g reports just to see where my priorities for the day should be if i'm working from the office usually i'll pick up a coffee and a bacon sausage sandwich on the way in so i can get straight on with checking out missed emails and messages on maji rewards once again in the office on monday we have our daily stand-up meeting around about 4 past 10 so during this meeting that's normally the perfect opportunity to find out if any of the devs on the team have any issues or any blockers that need testing after campaign after checking through the geo boards i work from any urgent or high priority tickets are usually what i'll start with since there are well the urgent or high priority if there aren't any urgent uh high priority tickets it entirely depends on if there's any project deadlines coming up or not i mean if there isn't i will be a case of working through any of our warranty or support tickets otherwise the project works normally well i'll always prioritize just because like there'll be a deadline for it coming up or or we need to get it in for an internal demo because my important tasks tend to be the urgent or high priority tickets or project work that has upcoming deadlines i'll usually start my day off with these sometimes bigger pieces of work this can drift into the afternoon or even take up a full day however that only really happens with project work and there's a rarity outside of this i mean a standard working deer usually consists of me making sure any work that the developers have completed is working as expected from the point of view of an end user for the site just making sure there's no issues with the functionality the the designs or the user experience of the section of the site or app the work has been done on this usually is done by working through a set of predefined acceptance criteria if working on a support ticket or based on the ticket description or the project specification of working on a project or some project warranty work burger king's been kind of like the go-to place recently however you can't really beat the decent greg's all roadies is also a cf second choice and so the essential tools that i use for my job would be my laptop the web browsers i've got installed on there so i can do some cross browser testing we mobile devices we have an iphone or android phone so we can test out mobile applications we do also have a website we use for our automated pen testing called app check i'm a very sort of logical and methodical person for as long as i can remember when i was younger i always used to like sort of taking things apart seeing how they worked but kind of didn't really know how to put things back together yeah i think all of those things put together are kind of why i enjoy testing and i kind of came very apparent when i was at university for testing games for some of my friends who were also on gamescom course definitely something satisfying about finding issues in an after even the game and then trying to work with people to find out what the problem was and where we can go and get it fixed i think having a logical mindset is probably sort of the main thing it's kind of like the core the very good qa tester would be that i mean following from that i think finding it easy to grasp new software or at least be able to understand the core concepts of that is also kind of a an important skill or a tribute to have beyond that i mean being able to handle repetitive tasks having good communication skills getting good listening skills as well or very important things when you want to be a tester it's hard to pick one thing really i mean first thing that comes to my head is a good workplace environment and probably colleagues as well and i think when it comes to enjoying somewhere you work those are two really important aspects and i generally think so chip would get both those nails on the head really great place to work [Music] that kind of varies from day to day really uh most years i normally clear my boards between like half five and half six and i'll clock off around about that time however there's been times where i've clocked off as early as 4pm or as late as 8pm really depends how much work i've got on how many projects we've got going on and if i need to put the extra hours in or if i've already hit my hours for the week really and that's my day thanks for watching [Music] you
