digital sales what does it mean does anybody know what it means well for me it's very simple it's whatever you've done in a physical way you're going to try and scale that in a digital way what does that mean well it means stuff like linkedin you have a digital platform that's technically unlimited if people are on linkedin and what you do is instead of sending your 20 emails or doing your 50 calls no you're gonna go and scale that on linkedin however be careful digital also means multi-platform so it's not only linkedin you will do because many customers are simply not active enough on linkedin so you go there where their attention is is it email is it cold calling is it reaching out physical presence is it a webinars i don't care but you need a myriad of channels not only one and you need to really incorporate that in your system i give you a stupid example a lot of sales these days when i talk to them and let's imagine they're in the software business i tell them how much percentage of your time should you spend on a tool like linkedin they go like yeah i do one or two uh contacts per day i'll do some of it on the toilet i said you should spend 30 of your time in linkedin if you're in b2b because it's so scalable but people don't realize that so what does it mean digital sales it means a myriad of channels and it means trying to scale also by software on a digital way
