good morning to our amazing Facebook group members legal fund members hope you guys are doing well alright today we have a super interesting topic the topic is how long does it actually take to get a funnel to convert so how long does it take from the systems that you create online to be able to start getting you clients it's a very interesting topic that we can talk about today it's a question that I get asked all the time and hopefully I'll be giving you guys some clarifications about this to help you guys with your own funnel just to give you guys an update we're currently in our legal funnel session to i we do a live coaching for lawyers where we teach lawyers how to create these funnels for the law firms so that it will help them generate clients and I also teach how to automate the entire process and how to take your law firm to be remote using technology and be able to automate and scale out your practice currently we have 27 students inside of our session to live coaching program and our graduation for this program is actually next Tuesday and then we'll take a two-week break where we'll be in rolling stone students for session three good news is we already have 12 students in our session three and we'll be limiting it to thirty students for session three so if you're interested in learning how to apply these funnel concepts to be able to get clients for your law firm essentially what a funnel is just a way it's a system for you to be able to attract your dream clients that exist online to come and hire you how do you go from people to who exist online how do you get them to end up hiring you and that's what a funnel is and I teach those concepts the same concepts that I've been able to use myself the last five years to be able to generate it and serve more than four thousand clients and continue to do so at this point I believe I get over 120 clients a month I think probably more I should know way more than that this point I don't have to look into my numbers and all using these concepts and then one other thing one of the update is that will be we're always going to be increasing the pricing of our program so make sure to sign up as soon as you can and we also do for the session we were only limiting at the 30 students so make sure to get in alright but that being said so the topic is how long does it actually take to get a funnel to convert so let me just start off by saying that every niche is different so you know one person's answer might be they're very different for somebody else every type of niche has a different audience different types of dream clients and they usually take action in different ways so everybody has different cell cycles so the first school your first school when you create a funnel is to get people who are interested in your service and how do you do that that's by having a landing page which is which is usually the first page of your funnel that captures the contact information of your leads so that's usually the name and email okay so before we get into converting before we talk about how to get the clients first you need to be able to prove successful that you're you're able to gauge and figure out how many people are actually interested in your service so but a typical sales funnel the first stage is awareness that means people you first have to make them aware of you the second the second step is interest that means one stage show interest I'll breakdown is every single one in me just give you guys a general overview the third level is that during the decision stage and then action stage so again awareness interest decision action so let's talk about the first level the first first level is awareness people are not before they meet you in the before they find you online they have to first become aware of you okay they just have to get to you at least just know of you that's the awareness stage and practically speaking what does that mean in a burner stage when it comes to online that's usually done through content or through ads that means you put out either you pay for ads you place yourself in front of in front of your dream clients and so that your dream clients become aware of you or by producing content when people are searching for something or when they find you on facebook that's how you create that awareness not that first and not that you put out that content and then video or the blog article whatever you put up that's the first level of your phone the second level is you need to gauge is the interest which is you need to get the people to come interested in you and how do you do that practically speaking again I'm trying to talk in practical levels to is by having a landing page or a funnel that will capture the contact information of your leads the people are now aware of you you want them to now enter your funnel and say hey and they wanted to raise their hand say yes I'm interested in whatever you're offering so that's the second stage by having that funnel of the landing page that captures the content Commission now when they come to my people enter your funnel that will be in a decision during a decision stage which is when they saw your funnel dating or they're already aware of you that you already have the confirmation so they're receiving automated emails from you and they're seeing your videos and things like that now they're deciding whether they should hire you or not and what I teach inside of our program is that most people don't hire you because of pricing they don't hire you because they found a better service it's usually because of timing people just need to it's not the right time for them maybe because the budget issues or you know for other reason maybe to have other focuses but it usually comes down to typing and timing so they're currently in that decision stage and instead of our program we teach how you can nurture these people who are insider who are interested in your service but who haven't taken action yet and then once they're made that decision the last stage is going to take action okay so those are the four stages of a typical sales funnel again awareness interest the decision action so whenever we're talking about conversion we need to figure out okay what do you mean by convert usually when you say convert that's usually means you know turning them into a client but in order for them to turn into a client there's a couple of micro conversions you know Mike they're steps along the way that they have to take in order for them to be with the pass through the last stage which is to take action with you which is to basically hire you so your first goal when it comes to a funnel is to get that first conversion which is to get their contact information of your of your your leads contact information and lead the way to do that again is by having is by using a funnel and you the first page of your funnel is that landing and you want to just get people who are who just become a very you to give you their contact information the typical conversion rate on a landing page is usually anywhere from ten ten percent to forty percent if you're really doing exceptional usually you're in the forty percent range a typical one is about ten percent so that means one out of ten people or four out of ten people will usually who are people who become aware of you now give you their contact information and that's that is if you have a really really good funnel and a good really good landing page then you go to do that and now from our own funnels I have had a couple of funnels that convert for about 40 to 45 percent under many pages and actually the legal funnel landing page because go to legal file comm that page converts at forty percent which is very very strong and it's four out of ten people who get to that page give me their kind of their content commission now most people when they come in now they're in that in that decision stage and at a typical conversion rate of somebody who enters your funnel to when they buy your service and take action the actual conversion rate typical conversion rate is anywhere from two to five percent okay so let's let's break that down again again so people who don't know you how many of what percentage of those people will take action with you at the end of the funnel typically two out of a hundred people two out of a hundred people okay that's I don't know if that's pretty pretty enlightening I mean I remember the first time I heard this I was like what really that's it like that's all I'm doing and and it's actually it's actually good news for you guys because most websites and most funnels that exist online they're typically there too there are two percent conversion rate websites and their multi-million dollar multi-billion dollar websites by having that 2% conversion rate so if you're doing if you have a funnel you're only convincing to I don't honey people to take action share your funnel you should be very very profitable because the actions because again this is all the powers of Internet the your content it reaches hundreds and thousands of people so even if you have a you know a couple hundred people enter your funnel and only to a two to five front percent of those people take action and if your offer is sick can I just say if your offer is anywhere from a thousand to a couple of thousand dollars that will add up to a lot of proper ability for you guys so a typical conversion rate against twenty five percent and not just good news for you guys so again in order before we talk about how long does it take to get a phone to convert you guys have to kind of understand these concepts that is it's not you guys first have to kind of prove and understand that you your first goal before even talk about how long does it takes for me to get a client to know first let me forgot Am I am i setting up my funnel properly for me to get the first part but get enough people showing interest to come enter my funnel so that's so how long does it take usually I would say the best way to do this and the best way to find out is to use paid ads either through Google Ads or through Facebook Ads to be able to put up your funnel and see whether your landing page converts that usually if your depends on how savvy you are that could take anywhere from a couple days to a couple of weeks to a couple months it just depends on how good we are with setting this up and we teacher since our program is how do you get this funnel up I proper from a funnel that will convert and how to get your how to get traffic people who who need your services to come to your funnel so that when they can't get to the funnel that would make the that would be able to make a decision to be able to hire you so how long does it take to actually get a funnel to convert so it's kind of like a misleading question it would I would say a better question is how long does it take for people to show that they're interested in your service and usually you could tell you could test that out within a week a couple of weeks okay so that means you get at least a higher goal to your funnel you get honey people to come to your page and see how many people how many of them raise their hand and give you their contact information and say that they're interested once you prove that that's the first step once you prove that the next goal is to get them to convert and in order for that to happen you need to have a good enough sample size to make a decision so if you talked about honey rule it takes to convert which is usually two to five percent that means you usually need to have a couple of hundred people who enter your funnel to have enough of a sample size to know whether your funnel work will convert so until you get those enough traffic to the beginning of your funnel then you will never find out how long it will take and so once you have the funnel again that that becomes that becomes the action they need to take is to get enough people to enter your funnel and again the way you do that is we teach that our program is either using content or paid ads to bring your ideal dream clients to your funnel and see and then once you bring them in if this you know just say I'm gonna look under saying my first initial goal will be okay let me get I got 200 people who clicked on my ad who got to my landing page how many over opted in and how many of them I got the confirmation and then from that point on I'm also also understand that there's a cell cycle that means people don't take action right away for every different service for every day Connor law firm there's different stall cycle it takes a set number of time for somebody to make a decision I'll just say for my for my own service for one of my services for business formations I know my typical cell cycle is three weeks so that means I can't just turn the funnel and then just expect people to just convert I need to wait if I have a really good converting funnel which I try not do that takes three weeks for somebody to enter my funnel for them to make a decision to hire me at the end so I need to give the and get and to give people enough time for the full conversion to go through and and I and I also see that as a problem for a lot of lawyers who like to turn on ads and they don't see any good results within a within a month and then they stop it you're you're just cutting yourself short by doing that because you're not giving enough time for people to make a decision and go through your funnel and be able to nurture them so just make sure you do that so if I were to give an answer if our students wants to be given the funnel and if they work hard to get the traffic to get the people to proper leave to come to the funnel it should take I would say three months to be able to get those conversions to get results for their funnels all right so that thing that was the best hit you can explain it without you know cutting yours you know we're not just giving guys like a bland answer will take you know this this long that's what it takes that's the climb and Natalia might say you need to have about this and kind of understand those that they're steps in the middle it's not just about you know how long does it take if I'll get that if I put this funnel up Sam it'll take to get for me to get a client well I'm gonna ask well honey pill did you get inside your funnel oh you only you only got 40 people to get to your landing page I'm sorry that's not gonna be enough people for you to find out how long it's gonna take to convert instead I'm gonna see it okay well you got a couple hundred people that came and saw your landing page out of 300 people you know 40 of them entered my funnel now from that forty hanging of them do I expect them to take action so that's pretty much what I'm looking at hi Andy hi Bethany to anybody who's joining us in I'm only licensed and can serve clients in two states targeted traffic so Bethany yes if you can only serve clients in two states that means you only want to target and talk to people in those states so you have to pick your traffic sources properly so if you're gonna to say if you're gonna be doing Google Ads then you're only gonna be doing Google ads for those inside of those two states if you're gonna be making YouTube videos then you wanna talk about topics that are related to people in that in those states obviously there are some channel sources like YouTube tick tock things like that are kind of broad and you know your content gets posted everywhere but that doesn't mean you cannot post your content and being you know put a good a value and doesn't mean other people in other states one won't hit you up but still you know that's you know so I think there's two parts about it think about if you're gonna be doing organic it's kind of like a you know put out content and then people will find you in your state but if you're gonna be doing paid ads the benefits are paid ads is you be able to actually target those particular states so if you use either Google ads or Facebook ads you will to target people your dream clients in your specific state dan asks are you going to teach us about follow-up email sequences so Dan is also in our session three students yes I do and I do it actually in module four or five I believe I do in module 4 where I teach about nurturing and automation and Dan I actually give away a very good sequences a secret since I've converted well for me and I actually hand over to those to you guys and then you have to fill it in for yourself yeah Peter how are you how are you Peter Peters whenever a session to students CID is actually one of my traffic calendar offer a conversion yes that's that's what I explained that you know you need to have the full-on funnel and get enough people entering your funnel to be able to see those conversions
