hello everyone again hope you're having a great day so far so this training so if you're an accountant and tax professional today I'm going to show you how to turn your websites from an online brochure to a lead generation agent so my agenda for today is uh I want to show you uh some strategies and techniques that you can use to turn your website visitors and to book appointments I want to show you as well some key elements of an effective website that convert credential clients the one change that you should make to crush your competition so now the best practice for lead generations and follow-up and of course a real example and case study of a business that successfully is using this strategies this is definitely for accounting and tax professionals who wants to attract clients from the internet this is for accounting and tax professionals they have a website maybe and you want to get more qualifying leads to grow your business and this is for accounting and sex professionals that you may not have a website at all but you maybe are looking for ways to get more appointments online a little introduction to me I'm a founder of pergeektech.com and of course our convergence marketing program they have worked with more than 400 businesses to implement a smart Marketing System as well I work in the design industry with I work with big companies as well with HP biostra Fitbit and other companies now of course like you know I don't want to over here talk too much about me is more about what can you do crease the number of leads using your website so a little story uh how we came up with this one of the things I identified was every business needs we need traffic we need conversions communication of course you need close sales and then you go to fulfillment or operation of your business so a year ago I was working and building websites for several clients and we were spending a lot of time and the client obviously is spending a lot of money but we noticed that results were not as days hope the website didn't have a direct correlation between the money that we're spending and the result of the site as a designer most designers don't really design for performance clients don't know what they really need so my first major roadblock hit when I realized that building a website alone or just doing SEO was not enough to help my clients to achieve their goal they needed a framework and a system that addressed all their pain points in this case same things that I'm showing you here how they're going to bring traffic how are they going to have conversions of course sales and overall of course you know do your part of your business fulfillment this came to a realization so we said okay you know what we don't want to be another marketing agency that only focus in one aspect of their business like if you notice if you ask a designer or an agency that's going to build you the website but it doesn't really care about anything else so if somebody does SEO they will do the SEO but they don't care about you know your design or they won't care about traffic or they won't care about other things so so in this case you know we didn't want to focus on only one aspect of the business and leaving you of course wondering what's the necessary steps to grow so and that's when we went to work I make some research testing and develop our marketing program that I'm presenting one of the steps today so the idea of this is of the goal is go from totally boring online brochure to a lead generation engine creating instant celebrities for your business over typical website 70 of visitors leave and never return I think it's important that we need to nail this and build instant Authority credibility and engagement you know with your users for them to stay in your site and of course become a client now many business owners you know regardless in the industry they operate in uh they buy into the base of their website they believe the traffic is directly related to the number of conversions on sales definitely traffic is important you know let's pretend in your case you have in a website it has increased 500 or a thousand percent or whatever number it is but if these visitors they have no intention to become a customer or client it's definitely pointless so the idea here is that the more traffic not always equal more sales so the website should attract people who are interested in becoming your customer and definitely reject all any unqualified traffic so they should know that 75 of people based there their credibility of a business and how their website looks another thing too is 70 of the websites don't have a call to action and over 90 don't even use unique selling proposition so the questioning in your you know is your website part of the 90 or part of the 10 so what does it take you know for a website to bring the result that you deserve question I have for you is the existing website that you have right now can can double triple even 10x the leads that you get in your website without doing anything differently in our case what we're trying to do right now is to show you a specific set of engagements and conversion elements that is going to help you convert these leads all right why most visitors bounce and don't convert and the answer is probably you may know some of this but most sites are brochures they have poor design themes or user experience they're complicated and Confused to navigate focus on you rather than your audience and then of course lack of connection and engagement fails to convey Authority and Trust so the question in this case is how can you create a website that reflects your business value I think the first step uh in this case that will set you apart first step to Define your brain identity and values your brand identity is what makes you unique from accounting and tax professional most business owners in my experience as small business owners never care about brand identity and they think brand identity is colors fonts but really is more deeper than that these definitely include the mission and statements right what is the purpose of your business what makes you different what they want to achieve the vision statement what is the future a state of your business where do you want to be your value proposition and this is remember the stats that we just showed you in the previous slide it shows that over 90 percent of people that even use that so what are the benefits of working with you how do you solve your clients problem and the last one is create a resistible offers and this is a connection between the desire of your target audience and the service you provide and in this case as well give them something more irresistible like such a discount bonus free trials guarantees or even limited time offers the first they'll be we want to make sure your website is a center of your online presence branding is a direct representation of your business image what your users should see feel when it comes to your website of course in this case your website definitely will give them the wild first impression a strong brand of course can help you to build trust communicate values to your potential customers increase the likelihood of them paying more for your product and services now one of the other things too is we commonly see is navigation which we also mentioned your navigation definitely has to be consistent needs to be simple visible and then definitely actionable you want to reduce the amount navigation links and things like that that people definitely can get lost so the idea here is going back to the same thing be consistent be simple visible and actionable so this is things that we want to make sure use for conversion use your capture forms and calendars where people obviously can request free quotes for consultation I think sometimes we see people don't even have call to action and we saw that I think 70 of people don't even have a call to actions your main landing pages have these type of forms or these type of links in calendars where people can definitely make or submit a form directly with you establish expertise and and this step definitely is going to things that you can put in your in your website uh certifications Association memberships media icon companies that you have worked with any type of security I think in the beginning when you have new audience it's really important to provide trust trust matter and believe me they are looking for this kind of stuff that you need to show so the next thing is testimonials so the display client testimonies across the website and of course Leverage The Power of social proof usually magnets videos to capture your leads what is the one piece of content that is easy to consume positions yourself as an authority definitely one of the best ways that you can definitely capture your lead you give them something valuable they'll give you their email and then you nurture them in the long term going back to this one again having a critical to action make sure you're mobile ready so we know more than ever people are using more than mobile devices desktop or even computers so it's important that your website is 100 mobile responsive so once your website is ready and you implement all these things right so the next thing is make sure your website as well is optimized for search engines now I don't know if you guys know but over uh 92 percent of traffic goes to Google you want to make sure your website has all the signals they need to send to Google for the keywords that you want to go for and rank for those keywords and then as well those areas and the next thing is of course Google reviews I think it's important that you engage with your current customers and invite them to give you reviews I'm not sure if you guys know this but over 33 percent of traffic get Whoever has the most reviews right so in this case uh reviews are important more than ever now and Google obviously give you um highest score because of that so treat every every paycheck a landing page landing page you know should be simple paid focus and a single topic or specific keyword case if you do tax preparation that page should be only focused in tax preparation if you talking about bookkeeping that page should be only focused in bookkeeping so keep it in one specific topic one a specific keyword each page have a specific goal so goals are like okay I want them to book an appointment I want them to download Elite magnet I want them to you know submit a form I want them to whatever you want it to be so the idea is in a specific goal you want them to achieve goals are easy to accomplish don't make it so complex a lot of the times you know when it comes to forms they have way too many fields you want to have no more than three or four fields and so the idea here make it simple for your users to accomplish those goals goals are measure conversion rate definitely how many people came what is the traffic coming at this one submitted and how many of those became clients so I think it's important to measure those those results and it's streamline right eliminate things that they're not needed in each of these Pages use incentives going back to the same thing conversion you know magnets opt-in forms and Design Elements and offer tested quite often so that's going to help you to sometimes people think that once the website is designed it's complete it's done it's definitely never it's it's true so you always have to uh test you know different offers uh different landing pages different layouts in different things that you can always optimize and to improve your performance the next thing is of course you know you capture these leads they come into your email what do you do next how are you going to nurture them only three percent of potential clients you know they're ready to buy at that time when they come to your site but what happened within 87 all these people they're gone they never come back and so if you capture them though and you nurture them uh more likely they can become a client in the future so that's the idea so three percent they're ready to buy ninety percent they might be ready to buy in the future so you want to capture these leads and nurture them in the long term so use some type of automation systems that it can help you to send them different drips and different emails that you can of course engage with them in the future here I'm going to show you some real example of our current client that we work with he's a tax preparation this was a current website that he had had Latino American Tax is the company that we work with now Latino American Tax is a tax preparation firm and they specialize in helping individuals and small businesses with their tax return now one of the struggles that they had and they came to us was because you know this gentleman was been in the business for 18 years is providing good customer service but despite all that he was struggling to attract new clients and of course increase Revenue he noticed that business were not showing up as well they were not his websites wasn't showing in the search results either locally or in the search and of course they were going to competitors or and then as well other people were switching to tax preparation softwares right instead of hiring them what we did hear the process right so we begin to create a foundation of their business and their brand and redesign main touch points uh with their customers this case we he had a street signed up of course thousands of people passed by and it was very confusing a lot of things obviously not focusing in the services going back to the same thing if you see here it says Latin American Tax Services how can I maximize Focus always and what your clients want not who you are in this case for now if we redesign of course you know their folders social media posts business cards you know all that stuff and they make sure the website was 100 responsive so that users can definitely access to them easily and quickly as possible so let's uh sum up for a moment and let's see some of the best practices people more than ever have very short attention spam so your audience online won't read your entire page so I think it's important that you go straight to the point immediately address the needs or point the solution to their problem I think that's one of the things that I know in SEO a lot of the times we see people filling out the page with hundreds you know so many you you know two thousand three thousand words uh just because they want to rank of course you got to do a balance between ranking in your audience remove visual clutter it's it's going back to the same thing you know as many things in life less less is more now be consistent with your brand including social media banners social posts logos however don't make the logo central point of your page a lot of the time sometimes I have seen some people they want to put the logo so huge they want to huge these animations really people don't care right in the beginning so I think it's important that you want to build credibility definitely you want to build Authority but in the beginning focus more in that pain point of your potential client of course ucta we talked about that uh ucta is a Crusher website but don't make it overwhelmed with too many of them as an example we say hey claim your free trial but and then we say download your copy you don't want to have more than one call to action per pay if you say Let's Pretend in one of your landing pages is for I don't know bookkeep so if you want them to set up an appointment asking is get your appointments get your appointments get your appointment around this same page you don't want to say too many of them but at the same time you want to be clear what action do you want them to take now this is some example of course that you can use claim your free trial download your copy send me a special book your free call get started watch a demo if you have a video alright so I prepared this uh little uh checklist so you know of course the purpose of this is to help you to have a Clear Vision or have your website shoot function so this is a quick list I think you should ask some of these questions how should your visitors feel when they land in your site or what is the problem that you're solving for them uh which clients will you feature in your page uh which are the four trust icons that you will be using in these Pages uh will you use any lead magnet which of the three or four core landing pages will you be using so the idea here is like I said don't overwhelm it with so many links in so many pages what are those pages that it will definitely help you as a business and as well as them to take him to take action so let me ask you a question so if you have two options to turn your website into a lead generation engine what option would you pick watch this training over and over and over again to try to put the pieces together all in your own or hire a designer that probably doesn't know you know how to put all these pieces together or uh my help to build and set up and optimize your website plus give you our entire system
