is you know wide at the top and narrower at the bottom used to direct or Channel things into a specific location or a container it's often used as a metaphor to describe the process that starts with a large group of people or potential customers and gradually Narrows down to a smaller group of interested qualified individuals and then eventually you know actual sales or actual customers so in marketing a sales funnel is a visual representation of the various stages that a potential customer goes through before making a purchase it typically includes several stages such as awareness interest consideration and then decision with each stage aimed at moving the customer closer to the final purchase so the purpose of a sales funnel is to help businesses understand the customer journey and to optimize their marketing and sales efforts to increase conversion rates and revenue funnels have existed since well before online but online is where a lot of people have started hearing the term funnel so in digital marketing a funnel often refers to a sequence of pages that a website visitor goes through to achieve a specific goal such as filling out a form subscribing to a service or making a purchase this is commonly known as a conversion funnel and is designed to give the visitor a step-by-step process that encourages them to take the desired action so I'll show you an example of a funnel in a moment as well this is the fitness Elite Legion system funnel as you can see like I described you know at the very top you've got the audience slash traffic source which is in this system social media and paid ads Google Facebook and Instagram then you've got the website slash landing page which is where people will go from the social media or Google to your website and that's where you're going to capture the name email and phone number now you own the lead rather than like Facebook or Instagram owning the lead next stage in this funnel is an automated follow-up system where you know if you use the workflows that we give you for free it's going to send out automatic text and email campaigns until they make an appointment with you and so their next step in the funnel would be that scheduled appointment where the potential new client has made an appointment to sign up with you in person or on the phone or by video call and then of course the final step in that funnel is to actually convert them into a new client so that's exactly you know what a funnel is just to give you an example of what a in the digital marketing sense or in the online world what a funnel looks like so it is a sequence of pages right that looks exactly like this right so um so we have this is exactly the the one one of the landing pages that we're going to give you for free um so you've got step one in this funnel which is simply the landing page or you know most people might know it as just simply a website which has all your benefits of joining your your gym or well this is the gym example um or you know could be you know for a personal trainer so of course the next step in this funnel so this is like where most of the people would land right this is like your top of the funnel and then the next step would be you know putting in your details and then you know claiming the free pass click on the button and then the next step in the funnel is you actually make an appointment so let's just you know let's go with 130 um you know enter my details and finally book the appointment and then this is the final step in this funnel where it says appointment confirmed um and then from there there is another stage in the funnel where someone now on your team will either give them a call or or they simply come into the gym for that appointment that they just made so there you go that's a real live example of a funnel okay so let's go more into detail let's go through each stage of the funnel here so number one you remember at the top of the funnel was the audience and traffic source and so in our particular strategy we focus heavily on social media and paid ads with specifically Google Facebook and Instagram those are the Giants right now yes there are other options other lead sources but these are the main Giants right now but any of these businesses can be gone tomorrow or a competitor could show up that outperforms them hasn't happened yet but it can happen so the goal here is to take advantage of these platforms now while they're hot and turn the audience into your own because a lot of people have social media followings which is great but it's totally Reliant like having a social media following is totally reliant on that platform staying open and that platform even allowing that business to keep their account and participate right many business owners we've spoken to have had their account banned at some point and have even had to start from scratch rebuilding Their audience on social media so what you want to do is yeah take advantage of these platforms while they're providing leads but the next step in the funnel here is to get them to your landing page so that you can now do something about converting them into actually leads that you own so look just to give you uh an idea of what is happening and these these big lead generation giants that are existing right now Facebook is already in a bit of trouble right if we have a look at this article here meta blames weak advertising demand for Facebook ad revenue is down four percent to 31.3 billion which is actually quite funny because they're still uh you know that's still a huge share but most importantly weak advertising demand and competition from Tick Tock and other Rivals yielded lower fourth quarter revenue and profit for meta which is Facebook's parent company just in case you didn't know so Mata owns Facebook and they are literally saying right here what I was just talking about before this is very recent right second of February this article came out 2nd of February 23 and so yeah you've got other Rivals especially Tick Tock that's one of the biggest ones that are literally affecting Facebook right now and then of course uh Google all right Google's been around forever for as long as even I can remember right now Google's management has recently reportedly issued a code read to their management team amid the rising popularity of the chat GPT AI artificial intelligence and in case you don't know what chat gbt is basically what it is is there's an AI bot called chat gbt that people that we all have access to now where you can ask it any question and it can answer it for you so as you're aware most people when they want to know something they go to Google and they kind of search it and they've got to browse through pages and you know I mean for for the most part that seemed like it worked quite well but now chat GPT is something where you can ask it a simple question and it'll just give you the answer you don't need to browse through pages you don't need to find like you know the best page so just to give you an example of what I mean right so uh let's say I wanted to know exactly when was the best time to visit Japan right um I don't know you know what when the weather what the weather is like at what time of the year so let's say I want to go in June I can stay at a chat chat gbt hey what's the weather like in Japan in June and it'll give me a full one paragraph answer that explains everything and I don't need to go like you know browsing Google pages and things like that um so Google management has issued its first code red uh first code read in a long time if or maybe the only code red they've ever issued I don't know what it is but Google needs to now think about what they're going to do to compete with this because people used to always go to Google to you know find out what they need now they can go to AI for this and so that just gives you an idea that these platforms are not going to be are not guaranteed to be around forever so on all these social media platforms the first thing you need to do is direct all your audience to your platform which is your website your landing page or your funnel which I don't know if I probably didn't mention this before but website landing page funnel basically the same thing you can hear them hear the terms used like interchangeably ultimately the goal is build your email list build your database take ownership of the leads and build your own database don't leave them on the social media platforms so that is really the ultimate goal of this strategy so social media management so what you want to do is you want to supercharge your social presence to attract new clients and how you want to do that is by using authentically branded social media posts that make your audience see your business as the only one that can help them and you want to increase engagement and followers with consistent and engaging posts now there's an like I mentioned before there's a paid ads component to this strategy and so posting on social media is going to help bring down the cost of your ad spend when you are targeting your audience from several angles and they you have that omnipresence that's going to help bring down the cost of your ad spend because they're going to be more easily converted or more likely to take action in your ads where they've been following you on social media now the word authentically branded I mean that's important as well like on social media the best you can either be authentic in in quality or you can be commercial so authentic versus commercial and what you want to be is authentic people love authenticity they don't love seeing like commercial quality stuff they don't want to be sold something by a big Corporation or something like that so they want to see authenticity not commercial qualities and then to really supercharge the size of the audience that we're accessing we want to use paid ads and you want to use like special offer ads and again authentic quality ads weekly monitoring and optimization you want to make sure you're checking in on these ads you know every single week because ads don't last forever they don't perform forever you could have a winning ad set that you know wins for two weeks or a month or something and then after that it's time to uh mixing is up a little bit and update and launch new campaigns when those ads dry up always keeping your offer fresh and relevant so that's the top of the funnel right that was the audience slash traffic Source component of the funnel now we're talking about the second step of this funnel which is your website landing page funnel we're going to give you this for free we're gonna we've got two really good templates that you can use either one of them depending on if you're a personal trainer or a gym and so here in your website you've brought them to your platform to your world where you have more control and more opportunities to convert them now you can capture their name email and phone number and now you own the lead regardless of whether Google or Facebook Etc Instagram disappears tomorrow or bans your account once you have their name number and email you can nurture them as much as you like you can contact them as much as you like without having to worry about whatever rules Facebook has whatever weird like SEO or rules that Google has us if you don't know what SEO is don't worry about it just simply you know the rules that Google has where they can you know potentially remove your website from their search engines but you don't have to once you have their name email and phone number you don't have to worry about any of that stuff this is literally one of the biggest secrets of all successful companies is building their email database and you know bringing uh customers into their into their system rather than relying on social media and all that so having an email list adds more value to your business than having a social media following and so you're going to do that you're going to capture all that information using your website and we'll give you this website for free so here's another example of one of the other funnels that we'll be giving you for free this is more focused on the personal trainers rather than the the gyms which essentially I mean for the most part it's the same you know you click on a button that we're looking at step one of the funnel now step two you're looking at a calendar and you know this is just a different style of calendar as well that we're using in a different form that we're using but it's up to you which one you want to choose you can choose either one we'll provide you with both templates we'll help you set up whichever one you like this is just an example of another funnel that we'll be giving you for free so from there once you've captured all their details this is the third step in the final right the automated follow-up system the automated workflows that we'll also be giving you for free here here's the other secret of businesses that gets loads of clients versus those businesses that don't you must follow up the fortune is in the follow-up you've probably heard that saying before it's absolutely true the fortune is in the follow-up right if you get leads from social media if you're getting leads from Facebook and Google and you don't convert them straight off the bat that's normal right like leads don't buy straight away maybe they're shopping around all that sort of stuff but if you keep following up with them if you have them on your email nurture campaign then sooner or later they're gonna they're gonna join you even if it takes like you know a month or two from when they first signed up and the best part about this is that it's not going to be hard work you know this part is fully automated and we're going to give you the system and the email templates already pre-written to be able to do that so they simply choose a time let's say 12 30 and then select a date and a time and then you or your team can give them a call so the system will notify you every time somebody books an appointment we can also integrate it with your Google calendar so that you can actually have it on your calendar or whatever other system that you use and so once they've booked an appointment you if you're an online based business you can either get them on the phone or we would highly recommend getting them on Zoom because nothing builds trust better than when a client or a prospect can see you face to face and really just talk to you there or they come in to see you physically or they're coming to your gym or whatever but of course the goal is from there is for you to sign up these new clients with an irresistible offer that they just cannot refuse you need a red hot offer that's strong something that's different that the market that no one else in your Market is offering and you do that so that
